Dog the Bounty Hunter, whose real name is Duane Chapman, has had a colorful existence. After he caught Andrew Luster in 2003 and was granted his own reality television series in 2004, he became well-known worldwide. “Dog the Bounty Hunter” was the name of the program, which ran till 2012. After that show, Duane starred in “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” a television series that included his late wife Beth Chapman.

Beth was Duane’s fifth wife out of his six marriages. They were joined in marriage in 2006 and remained so until Beth’s death in 2019 from throat cancer. A few months after Beth’s passing, Duane said he would be remarrying Francie Frane. Bonnie Chapman, the daughter of Duane and Beth, first defended her father’s engagement, but she was not invited to their wedding because of accusations she made on social media when her father was sacked from a new series he was set to host called “Dog Unleashed.”

Bonnie said that her father was racist and homophobic, and that he had deceived her late mother before she passed away. Duane has refuted everything Bonnie said and spoken up against these charges. In September 2021, Duane and Frane tied the knot without Bonnie’s presence.

Since then, Duane has made it a point to commemorate Beth’s death anniversary. Duane also noted the day as significant in his remembrance post on June 26, 2023, when he disclosed to the public a significant family secret that had just come to light a few days before to his post. Shortly after Beth passed away, her devoted husband Duane spoke with Hawaii News Now and other media representatives outside of their Hawaii home. Well-wishers had already showered Beth’s vehicle and the front gate with flowers and leis.

“When she had an attack, I didn’t know what to do but to say ‘in Jesus’ name’ and hold her, and when I said ‘in Jesus’ name,’ she said, ‘Say it again, say it more,'” he said, recounting the last few months of her cancer fight.

After that, Duane stated she was constantly thinking about other people, and she ended by talking about her family. “And then she said, ‘I love you,’ and ‘Are you guys okay?’ with her lips, coming out of it a few times to the girls and everyone else. Remain calm,” he added.

The devout family turned to religion for comfort. Dog said to reporters, “I loved her so much.” “Lazarus was lying when Jesus said, ‘He is not dead; he is sleeping.'” To sum up, Beth is not dead; rather, she is asleep.

“I really pray that a deity exists. “I hope I’m not just talking to myself, but I trained myself to ask myself, ‘What would Jesus do?'” Dog went on. “If there is a God, I will see my honey once more. I sincerely hope that he exists.” All we can do is pray for it.

Regretfully, Duane said that Beth had informed him beforehand that she would pass away from the cancer. He said, “She woke me up one night and told me, ‘Daddy, I’m going to die,’ and I said, ‘No you’re not,'” as reported by The Sun. She had agreed to it, but I refused.”

Renowned for their popular television program, “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” Duane and Beth used bounty hunting to create an entire empire for their family and themselves. Dog and his spouse Beth were successful in apprehending several offenders who were free on bond and were paid for their efforts.

Widely watched, the program had a lot of action, romance, tension, and excitement, mostly either in Hawaii or Dog’s home state of Colorado. Before it was canceled, the show aired for a total of eight seasons. Then, “Dog and Beth: On the Hunt,” the power couple’s own spin-off, was released.

However, the reality star’s family was greatly impacted by Beth’s demise. The partner left behind is always devastated by the loss of a spouse or lifetime friend. It is left up to the spouse to mourn, recover, and move on on their own.

The public expressed their love and support for Duane and Cecily Chapman when Beth passed away. Thousands of people attended Beth’s funeral ceremony in her hometown of Colorado, the most of them were her devoted followers.

The pandemic prevented many fans from attending in person, but the family encouraged those who could to find other touching ways to honor Beth. For instance, they advised followers to honor Beth by taking a stroll or a hike and sharing a photo of her on social media with the hashtags #ThisOnesForBeth and #ForTheLoveOfBeth. It’s a really touching and original concept that pays tribute to Beth and keeps her admirers involved even when they are unable to be there in person.

On June 26, 2023, Duane paid tribute to his wife once again on Instagram, but this time he included a startling disclosure.

“This day has served as a terrible reminder of one of my greatest losses for the past four years.” However, this day was saved by God when I learned that my son Jon, whom I had only just met, was born on this day. Thus, today has a new meaning rather than being a day of grief. Using social media, Duan shared a photo of his kid Jon and his spouse Jodi.

Duane omitted any information on Jon’s mother, however.

“My next book, Nine Lives and Counting, will tell the whole tale of Jon and will be released SOON. Please know that God redeems and restores those who have experienced a tragic loss. He went on to add, “Happy birthday, son. Love you both.”

Looking at the photo, one could be puzzled at first since Jon resembles his father Duane exactly. Fans have also noticed that they share unsettling resemblance.

“Whoa! You look just like him! I’m so glad you two have connected at last! Blessings to you and yours! ❤️❤️❤️,” a supporter said.

Another person said, “Just goes to show that when one door closes, another opens, much love and respect Dog🙏.”

“God has a way of transforming something difficult into lovely gifts. “Happy birthday to your son!” wished him from an admirer.

“I was overjoyed to spend Thanksgiving with all of you. We can tell where Jon got his amazing personality from! ❤️ A fourth individual spoke up.
