Former R&B artist R. Kelly is the father of three children with his ex-wife, and his children have claimed that since he fell from prominence, they have not been on good terms with the “Ignition” singer. Their disgraced father’s misdeeds are going to follow them around for the rest of their lives, according to their mother.

Joann, Jaah, and Robert Kelly Jr. are all well-known for being R. Kelly’s children, and they have disclosed that being called “R. Kelly’s children” has put them in a vulnerable position at their respective schools. The woman who was once married to R. Kelly and now works as an advocate has said that the singer’s activities have caused him to lose the title of “Dad.”

When Joann Kelly entered the music business, she demonstrated that she had received the musical gene from her father R. Kelly. Joann Kelly is the daughter of Drea Kelly and R. Kelly. She is known by her stage name, Buku Abi, according to her Instagram account, and among her other accomplishments, she had an appearance on “Love and Hip Hop: Atlanta” in the year 2017.

Jaya was R. Kelly’s second daughter with his ex-wife, who he and his ex-wife also had a daughter. However, when Jaya was 14 years old, he revealed that he was a transgender guy and changed his name from Jaya to Jay, and subsequently to Jaah. He has since gone by these names.
As early as the age of six or seven, Jaah was aware that he was a transgender guy, and he gradually started to identify with the he/him pronouns. “I believe I am a boy and want surgery and the medication to help me be who I was supposed to be,” Jaah said during the year 2019.
Earlier accounts said that Jaah’s family did not accept his new identity; however, he disclosed that they did in order to put the record right and give their support. In addition to being a sound engineer, it can be seen on Jaah’s Instagram that he is an artist as well, much like his sister.

Robert Kelly Jr. is Drea and her ex-husband’s second kid, and unlike his other siblings, he prefers to stay out of the spotlight. Drea is the mother of Robert Kelly Jr. Nonetheless, in 2018, he participated in an interview with ABC with his mother as well as his brother and sister.
During the course of the interview, it became clear that the siblings had a strained relationship with their father and that, as a direct result of their father’s behavior, they had to deal with being bullied at school. Later, their mother related the following:
“As a mother, my heart hurts because this is now the legacy that my children will have to live with, as well as their children’s children, and their children’s children’s children. At the end of the day, you cannot sever ties with your family tree or your lineage.
In 2019, Drea repeated the same feeling that Joann, Jaah, and Robert Jr. were not on speaking terms with their father and disclosed that the siblings no longer referred to R. Kelly as Dad. She also said that the relationship between the siblings and their father had deteriorated. “They call him Robert Senior,” Drea said.
