When confronted about photographs of her estranged husband and his dancing partner on Wednesday’s episode of ‘WWHL’, Richards gave her response to Andy Cohen on the show.
There have been new speculations circulating regarding a romantic relationship between Mauricio Umansky and Emma Slater, who is his professional partner on Dancing With the Stars. Kyle Richards is not thrilled about these reports.
Richards addressed the newly leaked images that showed Umansky and Slater holding hands while strolling down the street in Los Angeles over the weekend after having dinner together on Wednesday’s episode of Watch What Happens Live! with Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live!. The photos were taken in Los Angeles over the weekend.
“I was taken aback,” Richards said as he was all agitated. “Yes, it was a pretty challenging thing to notice. It made me feel angry and frustrated.
Richards believes that the fact that her divorced husband was seen holding hands with his dancing partner is indicative of a certain amount of interest on both of their parts, despite the fact that she has said that holding hands is not necessarily indication that her separated husband has started a relationship with his dance partner.
“I don’t know if anything has happened yet, but obviously there’s something there,” according to Richards.
Umansky provided an update on the state of his marriage to Richards during an interview with Entertainment Tonight that took place earlier this month during the Latin Night episode of Dancing With the Stars.
“The reality is… we are officially separated, but we’re not throwing in the towel,” he stated further. “We’re going to have to battle for this. We’ve been married for 27 years, and 26 of those years have been incredible. My very best friend, Kyle, is an incredible human being, and I adore her… And occasionally couples go through challenging moments, and that is what we are dealing with right now.”
Richard shared his feelings about the hand-holding images with Cohen on Wednesday and stated, “Listen, I love him very much, and we get along well, but [seeing] that really did hurt me.” Richard and Cohen are good friends.
She also claimed that viewing those photographs was the impetus for her recent decision to erase her Instagram postings in which she supported him on Dancing With the Stars.
However, I did vote for him as well, Richards said.
When asked about her and her husband’s marriage, Richards stated, “My husband and I were very, very happy… and we had an amazing marriage for a very long time.” Richards made this statement when reflecting on their union.
Despite the fact that Richards has stated that the decision to divorce “originated from me,” she has expressed how much she cares about her husband and how pleased she is of the way their children are coping with the situation.
“When the news first broke, it was absolutely heartbreaking… but now they are doing much better, and they are incredibly resilient,” Richards said. “I could not be more pleased with how they have performed. They are incredible examples of the human race.
Alexia, 27, Sophia, 23, and Portia, 15, are Umansky and Richards’ kids. Richards also has a 34-year-old daughter named Farrah Brittany, whom she has with an ex-husband named Guraish Aldjufrie. Umansky and Richards are the parents of all four of their daughters.
A bit earlier this month, Umansky shared with ET that despite the fact that the divorce has been difficult, “There are a lot of elements of this process that have really pushed the family a little closer… There is always a bright side to everything.”
“My daughters are actually very pleased that we’re having a lot more real, open conversations with the family,” according to Umansky. “They are appreciative of that.”
According to photographs acquired by Page Six, Umansky and Slater were seen walking out of Matsuhisa in Beverly Hills on Sunday evening holding hands. The meal had taken place earlier that day.
A witness told Page Six that they had seen Umansky, 53, and Slater, 34, kissing as they were sitting at the bar for dinner. The witness said that they were observed inside the restaurant by the publication.
