Tina Knowles is having a party to celebrate the 19th birthday of her grandson Daniel “Julez” Smith Jr.!
On Friday, the 69-year-old entrepreneur posted a video on Instagram in which her son Julez, who is the product of her previous marriage to Daniel Smith, could be seen enjoying his special day. Solange Knowles is the father of Julez.
In the video, Julez was about to blow out the candles that were on his birthday cake as he was seated at the head of a long table.
He beamed and joined in the festivities as “Happy Birthday” was sung to him by members of his family and close friends.
Knowles wrote “Love u kid” over the Instagram Reel and included numerous different love emojis in her post.
In the caption, she also sent a birthday greeting for her grandson, saying, “Happy Birthday Julez! And best wishes for the future! You are loved by us, and we couldn’t be more proud of you.
Knowles remarked in the tweet, “This is the song Happy Birthday when you gather a group of singers together,” adding, “The party was Great @solangeknowles you did that!!!❤❤❤.”
A number of users, including Knowles, commented on how well-balanced the Knowles family’s performance of “Happy Birthday” was. These users said that they could not only hear Solange’s voice, but also that of Beyoncé, Julez’s aunt, and Kelly Rowland, another member of Destiny’s Child. Knowles was not the only user to make this observation.

Knowles has always been her grandchildren’s number one fan, blogging about not just Julez, but also about Beyoncé’s three children: daughter Blue Ivy and twins Rumi and Sir.
At the beginning of this month, the doting grandmother posted a heartfelt tribute to her granddaughter Blue on Instagram, in which she said that Blue, who is 11 years old, often helps her with her cosmetics.
“Hi! “I’m here with the makeup guru, makeup extraordinaire, Miss Blue Ivy Carter,” Knowles said in a dressing room mirror as Blue waved in the background. “I’m here with the makeup guru, makeup extraordinaire,” Knowles continued.
“She had just finished doing my makeup. She has been doing my makeup for many years, and I find that I really like it,” she added, adding that she was not so sure about the “small glittering things on the top.”
The successful entrepreneur congratulated her oldest grandchild, Blue, for her other qualities in the caption of the photo, and she likened Blue to her aunt Solange.
