A. Holker, Allison Nearly one year after their father, Stephen “tWitch” Boss, passed away, Boss and her children are trying their best to move on with their lives.

The family house that the professional dancer had lived with her late husband, who had passed away in December, was listed for sale earlier in the month of October for a price of $3.795 million.

“Allison and their children are coping as well as was to be anticipated, but Stephen is always on their minds and hearts. A source close to the couple tells People that they are “doing their best to move forward and try to heal.”

In 2019, the couple, who had been married for nine years, moved into the home in Encino with their three children: a daughter named Weslie, who was 15 years old, a daughter named Zaia, who was 3, and a boy named Maddox, who was 7 years old.

After working together with Pottery Barn on the remodeling of the six-bedroom, six-bathroom house in 2021, they revealed the finished product. Those who are familiar with the dancers will be able to identify the location from the many dance films that were shot inside their house.

After the renovation was completed, Allison told PEOPLE that she and her husband “really wanted the home to feel like a sanctuary for us where we could breathe together and just create memories in this really warm space.”

In May, Allison spoke to PEOPLE about the memories she had of spending time in their house with Stephen, their children, and other family members.

The former contestant on Dancing with the Stars described times spent at the dinner table during which “we’d have so many random conversations, and there was so much laughter.” She went on to say, “Our love was so genuine and so outspoken.” We constantly told visitors that our home was like a dance that had been planned.

Just a few short days before the former DJ on the Ellen DeGeneres Show passed away at the age of 40, the couple Allison and Stephen celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary. Despite the fact that they first met at a party in 2006, the beginning of their love story didn’t start until 2010, when they linked on the seventh season of So You Think You Can Dance. In the end, they decided to be married in December of 2013.

Allison paid a heartfelt tribute to her late husband on the occasion of his 41st birthday, which would have been in September.

“In honor of our gorgeous, charming, good-natured, and beloved Stephen tWitch Laurel Boss. Alongside photographs of her own and Stephen’s children paying their respects at their father’s grave, she wrote: “Forever on our hearts and minds carrying us, guiding us, and lifting us.”

She went on to say, “We feel your presence every day, and we will be eternally grateful for the wonderful times we spent together.” On this day, we are aware of your arms wrapping about us and supporting us while they do so. Happy birthday, my dear @sir_twitch_alot, a day on which we will always appreciate the gift you were and still are to this planet. I hope you have a wonderful year ahead. We’re in love with you!
