The majority of parents had the desire that the world was an entirely risk-free environment. Nobody wants to be the parent who has to break the news to their kid about the bad things that happen in our world. In an ideal world, parents would be able to protect their children’s innocence for as long as they lived. However, in order to protect their children from potential dangers, it is sometimes necessary to educate them about the reality of the world in which we live.
Joshua Moore, Julianne Moore’s father, educated his daughter about the possibility for evil and the existence of people in the world who engage in such behavior. Even though Joshua did not want to frighten his daughter, who was 11 years old at the time, he did want her to be able to detect danger when she saw it.
Thankfully, you won’t need to worry about forgetting this lesson on a bright day in May of 2019. Julianne and her younger brother, Hayden, who was just six years old at the time, were having fun outside of their house in the Old Brooklyn district of Cleveland, Ohio. Julianne became aware of a guy who was secretly watching both her and her brother while murmuring to himself.
Hayden’s arm was seized out of nowhere by the guy who had suddenly charged at them from behind. Julianne was aware that she did not have a lot of time to respond to the situation. As a passionately protective older sister, she reached out and grabbed the other of Hayden’s arms, then she pulled him behind her. She did not stop screaming for assistance the whole time.
Julianne dragged Hayden into the safety of their garden when she had wrested him away from the grip of the frightening guy. There, she informed her father about the recent events that had just taken place. Joshua ran out of his yard and challenged the predator, but the other guy paid no attention to Joshua and swiftly left the area. After returning home, Joshua took care of his kids and then phoned the authorities.

Authorities in Cleveland were able to locate and take into custody Pedro Luyando, 33 years old, who was wanted for questioning in connection with an alleged kidnapping, as reported by CBS News. Julianne related the terrifying experience to me.
“He started to talk to us, but we really couldn’t figure out what he was saying,” the 11-year-old recalled. “We really couldn’t figure out what he was saying.” “It was like gibberish so we really didn’t think much of it.”
The next part of her statement went as follows: “When he tried to grab my brother, I knew like this was serious.” This was not a handshake or any other kind of greeting at all. As soon as I saw what was happening, I grabbed my brother and ran into the backyard since there was no time to freak out. You can’t do anything except roll with the punches.”
According to a story that was shown by News 5 Cleveland, Julianne had brought her younger brother into the backyard to keep him secure and away from the person who may have kidnapped him.
Julianne said that she recalled the principles that her parents had taught her, which included maintaining her composure at all times and watching out for her younger brother.
“When I realized that I had succeeded in saving my brother, my heart sank. She said that he would not be present at this time. “The best thing I could do was take him and go because it’s not good to panic when there’s problems because I could’ve wasted time just sitting there panicking and not knowing what to do.”
Julianne was acclaimed as a hero by the people who lived in Cleveland. On the Facebook page for Northeast Ohio AMBER Alert, a post was made praising Julianne for the heroic efforts she had taken, further demonstrating her bravery.
Joshua said that he could not be more pleased with her efforts, which may have just prevented Hayden’s death. He remarked that he could not be prouder of her. “She is my inspiration. Joshua said, “She is the one who rescued my son.” “I told everyone, I truly believe my son wouldn’t be here today if it wasn’t for her.”
