Hayley Orrantia and Greg Furman have finalized their marriage and are now legally married!
On October 14, the Goldbergs actress and her fiancé were married at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu in front of two hundred of their friends and family members. During the ceremony, they said, “I do.” Orrantia said to PEOPLE that the gathering of all of her closest friends and family members was the highlight of the evening for her.
According to the actress, “We just wanted the night to feel like friends and family are in an extension of our own home — a very living room vibe,” and she went on to state that “It just fit perfectly with what we’ve always been envisioning.”
A mutual friend and employee of the Goldbergs brought the two people together for the first time six years ago. Orrantia claims that she “thought he was really cute,” but after that first encounter, they didn’t cross paths again for another half a year.
She explains, “I saw his videos come up on my [Instagram] page, and I just thought, ‘This guy is so funny, I just want to hang out with him,’ so I actually slid in the DMs and asked him if we could get together.” “I inquired as to whether or not we may go grab some coffee. Therefore, after that, that was pretty much it; from that point on, we’ve been together ever since.
In May of 2022, Furman posed the all-important question. The weekend wedding celebrations, which were prepared by Karli Spangler Events, began with a welcome party and rehearsal dinner. During these events, Orrantia wore a white Badgley Mischka dress that she found at a thrift store while shopping with Furman and his parents in Nashville. Karli Spangler Events was responsible for planning these events.
“That was just a really fun, unexpected find, and I love being able to incorporate that I found it in the way that I did, when I did,” she adds. “That was just a really fun, unexpected find.”

Orrantia chose to celebrate her big day in a “beaded flapper girl” Liz Martinez gown that included a chiffon skirt that could be removed. This allowed her to dance the night away after saying “I do.” The actress claims that she wanted to try something new since she had been on several red carpets and events wearing dresses in the “princess” style. The first dress that she tried on ended up being the one that she chose to wear.
Orrantia explains, “I am the type of girl that is like immediately getting barefoot, and I’m on the dance floor the whole night.” I needed something that would allow me to move freely while dancing, but at the same time, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to buy two outfits. This is the dress I wore for my wedding. I want to spend the whole of the night in it.’ And this particular garment was the epitome of perfection.
The autumnal hues served as the couple’s inspiration for the ceremony’s color palette, which comprised tones of terracotta, burnt orange, and rust, as well as flower arrangements by Joy of Bloom that included “lots of greenery.” Each of her seven bridesmaids picked out their own outfits to wear, but they all stuck to the same general color palette.
The song “I Just Love You” by Roo Panes was playing as the bride made her way down the aisle after the first glance she had with Furman. In front of a backdrop of a sunset, the couple reads personal vows that Orrantia confesses they labored over for many months in order to put together.
“It’s the little things,” she raves over and over again. “Having coffee on the weekends with him is one of my favorite things to do. And we’ll do the Sunday paper crossword puzzle like we’re elderly folks — that’s one of my favorite things.” “And we’ll do the Sunday paper crossword puzzle like we’re old people.”
Guests were welcomed with shrimp skewers, cheeseburger sliders, and flatbread topped with truffle mushrooms and mushrooms with truffle oil during the cocktail hour. Orrantia claims that for dinner, they offered chaat masala, which is one of her personal favorites, a truffle filet, as Furman had requested, and honey nut squash for those who wanted a vegetarian alternative.
She reflects, “Probably one of my favorite parts of the planning was tasting, because you’re just getting to literally eat everything and they’re giving you all this wine,” and adds, “That was such a fun day.”
As a sweet treat, they indulged in a red velvet swirl cake with ivory frosting from the Vanilla Bake Shop. The cake included an orange-toned watercolor-like pattern on the icing to coordinate with the color scheme of the wedding.
After Orrantia and Furman had their first dance to Schitt’s Creek star Noah Reid’s performance of “Simply the Best,” everyone enjoyed the Jordan Khan Band. The reception was filled with music — the visitors signed cards and placed them into a giant guitar case as they entered the venue — and after the first dance, the attendees signed cards and put them into the large guitar case. The newlyweds made the decision to throw a surprise silent disco for their friends and family as the night drew to a close.
Orrantia makes light of the situation by joking, “This is so ridiculous, but one of the reasons I was so looking forward to it is because I’ve seen videos that people take where they’re just panning through the room of people dancing.” “I find it really comical that there is no music playing out loud, yet all you can hear is the heavy breathing of the individuals around you. That made me laugh out loud so much.
The celebration continued beyond that point. Before the festivities of the wedding weekend came to a close on Sunday, the newlywed couple hosted a brunch for their guests together with their wedding party.
Now that their wedding is over, Furman and Orrantia are jetting off to Europe for a two and a half week honeymoon. They will begin their trip in Rome, where they want to take culinary courses in addition to seeing the sites, and then continue on to Greece.
“We’re doing Santorini and Athens,” she spills the beans. We can’t wait till we get to Santorini so that we can kick back by the pool and indulge in all of the island’s delectable cuisine.
She goes on to say that their one and only “big trip together” was to Paris for the holidays many years ago, so it seems like it will be their last destination.” It is so special to both of us,” she explains.
