Pamela Anderson is opening out about the shift in her perspective on what constitutes beautiful.
In a recent interview with Sidia the Brand, the actress and activist, who is 56 years old, discussed how she has come to terms with her more natural appearance, which she debuted at Paris Fashion Week, as well as her credo on self-acceptance and growing older.
When the celebrity was asked in a video uploaded to TikTok what her most closely guarded beauty secret was, she said, “These days? Nothing should be done.”
“Wake up, whatever is happening is simply occurring. There is nothing you can do about it. “Self-acceptance is the key to it all,” was her explanation. “At this point in my life, I’m working really hard to accept this new chapter,” you may say.
However, the actress from Baywatch also said that it might be “challenging” to reach the stage of “self-acceptance” at first, particularly considering the trend in beauty standards toward seeming younger.
“Sometimes it’s challenging, and you just have to understand that you are good enough and that you are beautiful,” Anderson said, adding that she now prefers to “say the word life-ing instead of aging.”
“The pursuit of youth is simply fruitless,” she said.
She said that the majority of people are “not going to get there” and become a younger version of themselves, therefore she questioned why people don’t “just embrace what is going on.”

“And since I’ve really just walked out the door as me, I feel like a relief, just a weight off my shoulders,” she claimed. “And since I’ve really just walked out the door as me, I feel like a relief.” “And in all honesty, I find that I like it. I’ve decided to start dressing for myself rather than for other people.
The star of With Pamela, A Love Story displayed her fresh perspective at a few events she attended during Fashion Week, such as the Isabel Marant Womenswear Spring/Summer 2024 presentation. These events took place the previous week. She attended the event in a bright yellow dress that reached her ankles and was notable in that she did not wear any makeup. Her long blonde hair was worn down in a natural wave.
In contrast to the way she dressed when she became famous in the ’90s, the stunning natural beauty has adopted a more understated appearance in recent years and has been encouraging other women to follow her lead in this regard.
She said that she has began to move away from her “wild and uninhibited” ’90s style, which she embraced when she was married to rocker Tommy Lee, in order to pursue a makeup-free lifestyle that has been “freeing and fun.” The interview took place a month ago and was published in Elle magazine.
“I think we all start looking a little funny when we get older,” she remarked. “I think that’s just how it is.” “And whenever I look in the mirror, I can’t help but have a good giggle at myself. I’m like, ‘Wow, this is really…what’s happening to me?’ It’s a long way to go.”
