Safyre Terry, a resident of the United States, expresses her one and only want for the upcoming holiday season, which is for her Christmas card tree to be adorned with a large number of greeting cards sent from all over the globe.

As her own family has passed away, the badly burnt girl has taken to the internet to make a plea for the rest of the world to celebrate the holiday season with her in their place.

In 2013, Safyre’s family home in Schenectady, New York was deliberately set on fire, which resulted in the deaths of her father, David Terry, and three of her younger siblings.

Safyre, the lone survivor of the fire, was discovered with burns covering more than seventy-five percent of her body. She was found sheltered by the corpse of her father.

According to her maternal aunt, Liz Dolder, who spoke to BuzzFeed News, Safyre has had more than fifty procedures since the accident, and as a result, she has lost both her right hand and left foot.

Dolder, who now has exclusive custody of the kid, said that Safyre is still experiencing difficulties with her mouth as a result of the scar tissue tightening up, and that she is scheduled to have her second procedure on January 5.

Safyre, like most youngsters her age, is enamored with all things related to the Christmas season, and an online campaign is now running in the hopes of bringing a grin to the girl’s face.

The Facebook group Safyre Schenectady’s Super Survivor, which was created by Dodler to chronicle Safyre’s recovery and collect support from the local community, has made a plea to the internet to assist the youngster in filling up her Christmas tree card holder with cards.

The internet and many worldwide media outlets have taken note of Safyre’s request, and they have assisted in spreading the news in an effort to make this year’s Christmas a happier one for her.

A message that may be seen on the website Imgur reads, “Let’s help this young girl’s Christmas desire come true. It is important to her that her card tree be completed. “Would you mind taking a few minutes out of your day to send her a Christmas card? She will absolutely adore getting cards from people all over the world.”

The call has also been published on Twitter by a user account that is affiliated with Anonymous, in addition to news organizations from all around the globe.
