Hugh Jackman and a few of his other celebrity friends got into the football atmosphere.
The actor made an appearance on Sunday at MetLife Stadium in East Rutherford, New Jersey, to see the Kansas City Chiefs play the New York Jets. He was joined by other celebrities such as Sophie Turner, Sabrina Carpenter, and Taylor Swift, as well as his buddy Ryan Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively.
During the game, Jackman, who is 54 years old, posted two selfies on his Instagram Story. In the first picture, he can be seen posing beside his co-star Ryan Reynolds, 46, and the film’s director, Shawn Levy, with a football field serving as the backdrop.
“Probably one of my best selfies ever,” the actor stated in the caption of the photo.
The second photograph, which was shown without any commentary, showed him and Reynolds beside Lively, 36, and Swift, 33, all of whom were beaming for the camera.
Swift made the trip, which was her second time in the space of a week to see a Chiefs game in person, in the midst of speculations that she is in a love connection with Travis Kelce, who plays for the Chiefs’ tight end position.
The singer best known for her hit “Style” was recently seen spending quality time not just with some of her celebrity pals, but also with the athlete’s mother, Donna Kelce.
This occurred after Swift and Donna were seen conversing in a suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City on September 24, during the Chiefs’ game versus the Chicago Bears. The game was played on September 24, and both Swift and Donna were in attendance.
A source informed People magazine that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, 33, were still in the “super, super early days” of getting to know one another after Swift attended the latter game.
The source continued by saying, “They’re having fun,” and mentioning that the two individuals had met previous to her presence at the game. Everyone seemed to be having a good time despite the fact that this was Taylor’s first time seeing his mother and father. She was quite relaxed and unobtrusive when she was hanging out with him, his friends, and his family.
Following the recent announcement of his peaceful divorce from wife Deborra-lee Jackman after 27 years of marriage, Jackman has been seen spending time with buddy Reynolds as of late. Meanwhile, Reynolds has been observed spending time with Jackman. On September 18, the two stars were seen out together on a stroll in New York City.
Both Jackman and Reynolds will soon be reprising their roles as Wolverine and Deadpool, respectively, in the forthcoming film Deadpool 3, which was in the midst of production when the Hollywood actors’ strike began in July.
Reynolds and Jackman’s first time working together inside a Marvel movie since Reynolds starred as a different version of Deadpool in 2009’s X-Men Origins: Wolverine. The movie is also slated to represent the complete introduction of the title character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
