This married pair has been together for a total of 11 years.
Some love tales have a happy ending, while others don’t. On Friday, the star of The Real Housewives of Potomac, Mia Thornton, revealed that she had filed for divorce from her husband, Gordon.

“Like all marriages, ours has had its ups and downs,” the 38-year-old reality star says in an interview with People. “At this time, Gordon and I are not together; however, my family is my top priority, and I am committed to doing whatever it takes to make sure that we are okay,” she said. “I am not sure what the future holds for us.”

Mia continues by stating that both she and Gordon “ask that you respect our privacy and give us the time and space to figure things out.”

On the upcoming season 8 of The Real Housewives of Potomac, viewers may anticipate seeing Mia and Gordon’s troubles with their family featured in some capacity. Mia freely acknowledges in the teaser for the next season that she “obtained a divorce lawyer” amid a difficult time in the course of their marriage. In another part of the movie, Mia reveals to her co-star Ashley Darby that she “might” have married Gordon for the money. This part of the scene takes place in the trailer.

In 2012, Mia and Gordon, who was 70 at the time, wed each other. Together, they have a boy named Jeremiah, who is eight years old, and a daughter named Juliana, who is six. Additionally, they each have one kid from a child they had with a prior partner, and they are grandparents to four children who are members of Gordon’s family.

Mia was officially welcomed into the Housewives family during the sixth season. On Instagram in June, she sent a Father’s Day message to Gordon, wishing him a happy holiday and thanked him for “being such a POWERFUL positive influence on our children.” I am in awe of the way you care for our children, the way you nourish them, and the way you encourage them to become the very best versions of themselves. We are grateful to you for loving us and for being such a wonderful father.
