On the day that would have been Jansen Panettiere’s 29th birthday, Hayden Panettiere is honoring her brother, who passed away.
In a heartfelt statement on Instagram that she published on Monday, the Nashville singer paid homage to her younger brother.

Soon after his body was discovered in New York, Hayden and Jansen’s mother Lesley Vogel and their father Alan Lee “Skip” Panettiere sent a statement to PEOPLE confirming that their son died as a result of cardiomegaly in addition to aortic valve issues.
