After that, a representative for Loren verified the accident to People and said that the actress sustained many fractures, including to her hip and femur. The representative also said that they had a positive outlook on Loren’s health and rehabilitation.
“The surgery went very well, we just have to wait,” Andrea Giusti, Loren’s agent, said in a statement to CNN.
It was also stated by THR that the fall occurred in Loren’s restroom, and they said that the damage to her femur was the one that needed surgery. It was stated that all of Loren’s obligations for the foreseeable future have been canceled, and sources informed the publication that there is cautious hope regarding the result of the procedure and the actress’ recuperation.
According to reports from THR, Loren’s adult sons, Carlo Ponti and Edoardo Ponti, who are now visiting their mother in the hospital, are helping to accelerate her rehabilitation.
The last time Loren was seen in public and captured on camera was on September 2, when she accompanied her son Edoardo and his wife Sasha Alexander to an event hosted by Armani called “One Night Only.”
