In the forthcoming documentary about the life of the soccer player, Beckham, which will be available on Netflix, both David Beckham and his wife Victoria light up immediately as they each describe the moment they first set eyes on the other.
The pair, who have been married for the last 24 years, talk about the spark that they felt when they met for the first time at a soccer match in 1997 in a clip that has just been made available from the four-part documentary that has just been published.
David was a famous player for Manchester United at the time, and Victoria was a superstar as a member of the Spice Girls performing as Posh Spice.
In the video, Victoria, 49, reflected on her experience by saying, “The fact that I went to the games really was just to kind of…some would say stalk him.” “I would say’see’ him,” she adds with a smile while seeming laid-back in a white shirt and trousers. She is seated on what seems to be a comfortable sofa with her knee tucked under one of her legs.
“When I saw him in the footballers’ lounge, all of the other footballers were at the bar, but he was standing talking to his parents,” she said in the tape, as a picture of David when he had brilliant blond hair and his family flashed across the screen. “When I saw him in the footballers’ lounge, all of the other footballers were at the bar,” she added in the clip.
According to Victoria, who is now working as a fashion designer, this was appealing to her since she has a strong relationship with both of her parents, Jackie and Anthony Admas.
“And I’m very close to my family, and I love that side to him,” she added. “And I’m very close to my family.”
The video then shifts its focus to David, 48, who reminisces enthusiastically about the time they initially connected.

“I just fancied her the very first time that I spoke to her,” he stated in a slow and controlled rhythm for emphasis, “that first time that I speak to her.”
After then, the camera turns back to Victoria, who was on the same wavelength as everyone else: “I just, I just fancied him.” That was the simplest way to put it,” she said.
Brooklyn is now 24 years old, Romeo is 21 years old, Cruz is 18 years old, and Harper is 12 years old. David and Victoria married the wedding in July of 1999 and have four children.
Three years ago, David said to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show that their second encounter was more involved than the first one. “We talked for about an hour in the player’s lounge, and then she actually got the train up that day, so she wrote her number down on her train ticket, which I still have,” he recalled. “Then, after she got the train up that day, we talked some more in the players’ lounge.”
The tattoo patterns on his body are more evidence of his commitment to his wife. He has a tattoo of the word “Victoria” on his bicep, and more recently he had the word “Posh” inked next to the ring finger that holds his wedding band.
In 2018, the actor from Bend It Like Beckham revealed to the host of The Sunday Project, Lisa Wilkinson, the key to the success of his marriage. He responded, “I think marriage is always about hard work,” and I agree with him. “”To have been married for the amount of time that we have, you know it’s always hard work.”
Fisher Stevens and John Battsek, both of whom have won an Academy Award, served as directors and producers of the documentary. They were given permission to interview David, Victoria, as well as David’s family, friends, and colleagues. On October 4 it will be available to view on Netflix.
