Kourtney Kardashian Barker has all of her Halloween decorations ready.
The actress of Keeping Up with the Kardashians and self-proclaimed “Queen of Halloween” started her early preparations for the macabre holiday on Saturday by decorating her house in a Halloween motif and posting images of the transformation on her Instagram Story.
Kardashian, who is 44 years old, said that the reason she started decorating for Halloween so early was to “surprise” her husband Travis Barker. She explained this in a message that she wrote over a picture of stairs that were lined with white pumpkins on each side.
“My husband is going to be on tour the first two weeks of October,” Kardashian, who is expecting a child with Barker, 47, stated in her comment for the photo that she shared on social media. “So we had to come up with a plan to surprise him and make sure that we got all of the Halloween vibes in now.”
Next, Kardashian focused her camera on a particularly eerie decoration on the table, which was a mannequin head preserved in a glass jar. On the side cabinets, there seemed to be an arrangement of further skeletons and crows; also, there was an elegant skeleton of a dog that made an appearance.
In keeping with the spirit of Halloween, the creator of Poosh published an old photo of herself with her 8-year-old son Reign Disick, whom she shares with her ex-husband Scott Disick. In the photo, the two of them can be seen wearing identical skeleton onesies and what seem to be artificial devil horns that were created using a photo filter.
In the very last shot, a shadow of Kardashian when she was pregnant was captured as she stood at the top of the stone stairs that had been decorated with pumpkins previously. Over the photograph, she added an emoji of a baby in white holding a drumstick.
In June, Kardashian and her husband broke the news that they were expecting their first child together. In the beginning of this month, Kardashian revealed that she underwent fetal surgery due to issues she was experiencing throughout her pregnancy. She also said that her unborn son is “safe” after the operation. After that, Barker got back on the road with Blink-182 and continued traveling.
The drummer posted a photograph of a positive COVID test on Friday, which is what prompted Kardashian to plan the Halloween surprise for Barker. He shared the picture with the emoticons “” accompanying it. PEOPLE attempted to get further feedback from Barker’s counsel at the time by contacting them.
The next concert by Blink-182 is slated to take place on October 2 at the Altice Arena, which is located in Portugal.
