The wedding weekend of Caelynn Miller-Keyes and Dean Unglert got off to a wonderful start with an extravagant party!

“Camp Bell is the theme,” says Miller-Keyes in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE. “I loved going to summer camp more than anything else when I was growing up, so we incorporated some camp themes throughout the weekend… to really allow everyone to get to know each other.”

Miller-Keyes has had a lifelong passion for summer camp, and Unglert’s mother, Debbie Bell, passed away when he was only a teenager from breast cancer. The theme of the wedding was a touching tribute to both of these people.

Following the wedding, the pair has indicated that they want to adopt her maiden name, Bell, as their new surname in her honor.

“The whole weekend will be a perfect mix of us as a couple,” adds Miller-Keyes. “I’m really looking forward to it.”

Miller-Keyes and Unglert’s loved ones can be seen engaged in a competitive bout of tug-of-war and high-fiving each other after another game in some exclusive images that were shared with PEOPLE from the trip and that were shot by Carter Rose. The photographs were taken by Carter Rose.

At one point, 32-year-old Unglert was seen on camera mounting a bicycle and what looked to be competing against other riders.

During the festivities, he represented his squad by wearing a beige handkerchief wrapped over his arm in addition to a purple tie-dye shirt and khaki shorts.

According to Miller-Keyes, “we really wanted to be able to spend quality time with the people we love throughout the entirety of the weekend.”

She continues by saying, “We’ve heard from other couples that they were so busy all weekend, and we just wanted to relax and enjoy being with our friends and family.”

The celebrations for the day came to a close with the pair enjoying a meal prepared in an Italian manner.

“For the welcome dinner, we wanted to incorporate a little bit of Italy, which is one of our favorite places we’ve been together,” recalls Miller-Keyes. “We thought it would be fun to have a little bit of an Italian theme.” “The welcome supper was incredibly vibrant and full of color. Dinner was served at a single, long table at which all 75 guests could take part.

The dining table was decorated with a white linen cloth and matching white chairs and was situated under a beautiful canopy of fall trees.

The plates had what looked to be patterns of vibrant fruits along with a message, while the centerpieces were made out of flowers in yellow and white.

Miller-Keyes changed into a stylish attire for the evening celebrations, and Unglert did the same. Miller-Keyes wore a white silk long dress and a matching white boater hat for the evening events.

To complement his future wife’s ensemble, her fiance dressed in a brown jacket, brown pants, a brown cowboy hat, and a white button-up shirt with a white tie. He also wore a brown button-up shirt underneath his tie.

Miller-Keyes, who originally met Unglert on the 2019 season of Bachelor in Paradise, shared with PEOPLE her sentiments, saying, “We both love the [Colorado] area, and it made it even more special.”

She continues by saying, “We also wanted a way for everyone to be together all throughout the weekend, rather than just for one or two nights.” “As soon as we visited this location, we had no doubt that it was the right choice. Everyone is staying in their own cabin and enjoying the amenities of the resort.
