In April, the ‘Stranger Things’ actress, who is 19 years old, and Jake made the happy announcement that they were engaged.
Millie Bobby Brown does not expect Jake Bongiovi’s renowned rock star father to play at the wedding she is planning with fiancé Jake Bongiovi. Why? The band Jon Bon Jovi really deserves a break!
The actress of Stranger Things, who is 19 years old, made an appearance on Today With Hoda & Jenna, where she discussed the challenges of wedding preparation and revealed whether or not the “It’s My Life” rock musician would play at their wedding ceremony. To begin, Brown claims that the preparations for her wedding have been everything but hectic, and she has Bongiovi, who is 21 years old, to thank for that.
She responded, “It has not been stressful at all for me,” and she was absolutely correct. “Jake is really engaged in the process. Throughout the whole procedure, he is of great assistance. It’s a very pleasant thing because I’ve never had the impression that I was all by myself there. I am always asking myself, “Is this a good idea? Is there merit to this proposition? In the end, it’s simply going to be a very personal day for the two of us, so we’re both quite happy about that.
Hoda Kotb then inquired about the possibility of Jon performing a song or two during the event, to which Brown provided the ideal answer.
“I feel as if you’re asking me to go and perform in a full-fledged play,” she said. “I believe the gentleman could use a break,” she said. “He doesn’t take a break. He is always taking lessons, whether they be in singing or tennis. It seems to me that he might use a break. Perhaps there will be a three-hour respite. I have no idea how much longer he can keep going. I’m not sure whether he’ll be able to pull it off [become the father of the groom] on his own.”

Back in April, Brown posted a photo on Instagram in which she looked to show off a band that may be an engagement ring. The photograph in black and white depicts Bongiovi embracing her from behind as she displays a huge diamond ring on the finger that is being hugged. Brown included in the photo’s caption some lines from Taylor Swift’s song “Lover,” which read, “I’ve loved you three summers now, honey, I want ’em all.”
The following month, Jon stated that his son, Brown, and his fiancee, Andy, are engaged on the show Andy Cohen Live on SiriusXM. Jon said, “I don’t know if age matters, if you find the right partner and you grow together.” This was in response to the question of how he felt about his son becoming engaged at such a young age.
“I think that would be my advice really, is growing together is wise,” continued the musician, who has been married to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea, ever since they tied the wedding in April 1989. “I think that would be what my advice would be really, is growing together is wise,”
It’s likely that Brown and Bongiovi are belting out “It’s my life / It’s now or never!” somewhere in the world.
