ET caught up with the actress and model on Wednesday at the Pandora jewelry event that was taking place during New York Fashion Week.
Pamela Anderson is kicking off a new period in her life as well as a new look to go along with it.
The actress, model, and activist is one of the new faces of Pandora jewelry, and she walked the red carpet at the debut of the brand’s Lab Grown Diamond District in the Big Apple on Wednesday, which took place during New York Fashion Week. The event was hosted in the midst of the city’s annual fashion week.
Anderson attended the event with her two boys, Brandon and Dylan, who also star in the Pandora ad with her. During her time at the event, she chatted with ET about her philosophy on fashion and beauty at this point in her life, as well as how she is embracing the concept of “natural beauty.”
“The 1990s were the 1990s, and it is now the year 2023,” Anderson shared with the group. “I like to do things that are different, I feel like… and this is a new chapter of my life,” she said. “This is a new chapter of my life.”
Anderson made the remark that despite the fact that she enjoys going without makeup, the reality is that “natural beauty still takes two hours in front of a mirror.”
On the other hand, for the event that took place on Wednesday, the actress was dressed up in some sophisticated glam and was dripping with diamonds from Pandora that were obtained in an ethical manner. Anderson claims that the business procedures of Pandora were the primary factor that brought her attention to the company in the first place.
Anderson said that working with Pandora was enjoyable and that the firm has always been a sustainable one. He also mentioned that Pandora is sort of aligned with the way that he thinks. “We felt that it was a good match for us.”
The renowned model said that wearing diamonds is a long cry from how she has been dressed and living in recent years, and that this is something that she would never do.
“It’s odd because, well, you know, these days I spend all of my time in the garden. “I always have dirt under my nails,” said Anderson. “It’s just the way it is.” Therefore, wearing diamonds is a great idea if you want to add a touch of glitz to the situation.
Anderson has had a lot on her plate recently, what with working with Pandora, acting onstage in a production of Chicago, and writing a revealing tell-all book. For Anderson, this is a sign that she’s been doing things the correct way, since it indicates that her plate is full.
“I’m doing things that I’ve always wanted to do,” she added. “I’m doing them now.” “I always tell my children, ‘That’s what success is.'” It’s about spending your time doing the things you like.'”
In an earlier interview with Elle published one month ago, Pamela Anderson, now 56 years old and best known for her role as April O’Neil on Baywatch, discussed how she didn’t always have a say in her looks in the early stages of her acting career. Anderson revealed that she didn’t always have a fresh-faced look. She responded, “I just went along with what people were telling me to do,” and that was her explanation.
On the other hand, Alexis Vogel, who worked as Anderson’s makeup artist, passed away in 2019 due to breast cancer. The loss shifted Anderson’s viewpoint in a profound way on what constitutes beautiful. “She was the best,” said Anderson about Vogel. “She was the best.” “And ever since that time, I’ve just had the feeling that, without Alexis, it’s just going to be better for me to not wear makeup.”
