Couples sometimes experience stress or dispute; this is common. Such crises normally end well and soon in good partnerships. However, there are times when one spouse might be negative and put pressure on the other based on matters of money, employment, race, or certain physical characteristics.

Due to excessive pressure from her ex-spouse, a German lady decided to get surgery to extend her legs in order to become taller. In March 2023, she uploaded three pictures and the following caption on her Instagram as a preview for her story:
“8.5cm plus 5cm equals 14cm! My second leg extension has been lost for a year.
Theresia Fischer said, “I’m incredibly fit again now, I can do anything (sports, etc.), and finally, I feel good in my body again. Good, as I wasn’t happy before? No, but it is a another tale, which you will discover in due time.
Fischer said that she was “pestered” by her ex to have the leg-lengthening treatment, which left her with bruises down her shins, in an interview with MDR Jump on August 29, 2023.
She also discussed her remorse about the operation and described how she now felt about it. The former “Germany’s Next Topmodel” and “Celebrity Big Brother” participant had two operations and began when she was just 24 years old. Fischer was 5′ 6″ before having surgery that included the insertion of telescoping adjustable rods into her shins. The rods were progressively turned up to lengthen her legs, and they also raised her height by 5.5 inches, making her 6 feet tall.
The model is now sorry she spent $165,000 to get her legs lengthened. She explained her motivations for following through on her Instagram commitment in an interview with the radio station MDR Jump. According to Fischer, her ex allegedly said: “Theresia, you know I enjoy huge females. I thus truly want this. Up to 14 centimeters might be added. He verbally abused her as well. She disclosed:
‘You can’t accomplish anything without me,’ he would remark. I must help you. And if you hear it 20 times, 30 times, 60 times, and 70 times, you start to think you are nothing without him.
The influencer said that she was under pressure to get the procedure even though she had no prior knowledge of it. Sadly, the couple split up in 2022, a few months after her second operation.
The shin bone and calf muscles were shattered and divided, respectively, to implant a telescopic rod that she could screw into place to lengthen her legs, she explained the process to Bild per Daily Star.
Fischer said that after the two treatments, she started feeling embarrassed of her physique, although before, she had always been happy with it.
“I feel guilty because I agreed to a procedure that I shouldn’t have undergone. Because I’ve always been content with my physique, I’ve never had to deal with it before, she said.
Fischer, meantime, was first pleased with the procedure. She said that it improved her love life in 2019. She exclaimed, according to Daily Star, “I have become very flexible with my legs and have more room to maneuver in bed.” at the moment. At the time, she said, “I now feel satisfied and happy with my legs.” While claiming at the time that the surgery had helped her recover from the stress of having been bullied in the past, Fischer also acknowledged that many had condemned her online.
