I hope you have a wonderful birthday, Ben Falcone!
In celebration of her husband’s birthday on Friday, Melissa McCarthy shared a throwback picture of him in what seemed to be from his teenage years. In the shot, Falcone was wearing a denim jacket with a U2 button fastened to the lapel of the jacket. Melissa McCarthy paid homage to her husband by posting the photo.
“Nifty nifty take a gander at who’s FIFTY!! ” McCarthy, who is 52 years old, put a caption on Instagram beside the picture. “Wishing you a very happy 50th, @benjyfalcone. When this image was shot, fifty felt like it would be another hundred years before it arrived.
“Even if he wore acid-washed denim and a U2 lapel button to the wedding, I’d do it all over again for this guy!!!!!” the actress who played the Little Mermaid said.
“Oh my gosh! ” I hope you have a wonderful birthday, @benjyfalcone. You make the age of 50 seem great!!” In a remark, Octavia Spencer wrote, and Amy Sedaris joined the conversation by saying, “HB.” He is so adorable!!”
McCarthy, whose birthday is on Saturday, one day after that of her husband, was similarly recognized by Falcone on Instagram the previous year for her special day. McCarthy’s birthday is one day after her husband’s.
The actor and director shared a picture on social media of his wife posing for a photo when she was having fun with their new dog while lying on the ground. She was smiling at the camera.
He commented at the time, “Happy Birthday Mooch so thankful I get to lay on kitchen floors with you + dogs (and kids) for the rest of the rest of our lives,” expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to spend the rest of their lives together.
McCarthy and Falcone became together in 1998 and eventually got married in October of 2005. They have two children together, a daughter named Vivian who is 16 and a daughter named Georgie who is 13.
The actress said with People magazine in 2020, when she and Falcone would be celebrating their 15th wedding anniversary, that her spouse continues to give her butterflies in her stomach.
“It’s all about finding that one person who makes you a better version of yourself in every way. She praised her spouse, stating, “He is nothing but supportive, and he is extremely intelligent.” He makes me laugh so hard that it hurts, and he does this at least four or five times a day. I won the grand prize! ”
Noting that Falcone “leads with nothing but kindness,” McCarthy said that she is particularly grateful for his significant presence in the lives of their girls.
“I just think that if they ever meet somebody and that little red flag goes off.” “Whoever it is that they wind up with, they’re going to make a good choice, you know? I want them to have someone who is really nice rooting for them and encouraging them.
