Demi Lovato is in need of new management at this time. According to what we’ve discovered from ET, the singer, who is now 31 years old, severed ties with Scooter Braun, her longtime manager, in July and is looking for a new person to fill the post.

“This was a mutual and amicable decision to part ways, and the two remain close,” a source tells ET. “This was a mutual and amicable decision to part ways.”

Lovato was formerly managed by Phil McIntyre until joining the business of SB Projects, which is owned and operated by Scooter Braun in 2019. During her time with Braun’s company, she was responsible for the publication of two albums: Dancing with the Devil… the Art of Starting Over and Holy Fvck.

Billboard was the first publication to announce the news.

Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande are two of the artists that Braun handles. There were rumors circulating earlier this month that Justin Bieber had severed his ties with Scooter Braun. On the other hand, a source at the time informed ET the information was not accurate.

According to the source, Justin and Scooter are still working on projects together. “Justin is not attending meetings in an effort to search for new management. Recent projects that the two have collaborated on are listed below.

Braun has been in the headlines in the past due to his links to Taylor Swift. In 2019, Braun bought Scott Borchetta’s Big Machine Label Group, and as a result, he gained access to a significant portion of Swift’s song collection.

Swift has been vocal about her disapproval of the agreement ever since it was made public. She asserts that she was never offered the opportunity to purchase her music and that she was never informed about Braun’s purchase before it was made public. Borchetta has refuted Swift’s claims.

The signing of the contract was also the impetus for the singer to rerecord her first six studio albums. She has already distributed her “Taylor’s Version” of the songs Fearless, Red, and Speak Now, and on October 27 she will release her own rendition of the song 1989. She has not disclosed any intentions to reissue either her first album, which was named after her and was published in 2006, or her most recent album, which was titled Reputation and was released in 2017, as of this writing.
