It has been 14 years since actress and founding cast member of “Charlie’s Angels,” Farrah Fawcett, passed away. This year commemorates the anniversary of her passing. Her lifelong companion, the actor Ryan O’Neal, who was 82 years old at the time of her passing, was at her side during the last days of her life. The actor who played the lead role in “Love Story” is also the biological father of Fawcett’s only child, Redmond O’Neal.
Even after Fawcett had progressed to the point that she could no longer recognize O’Neal when she was undergoing treatment in the hospital, despite the fact that she was deeply sedated, O’Neal’s commitment to her remained unwavering. I had my last conversation with Farrah late on the night of April 9, exactly two and a half months before she passed away…She spoke the following words to me: “I’m coming home tomorrow. I am going to call you right now because I adore you. I was never given the opportunity to say farewell…Ryan excluded me from her life completely.
O’Neal continued to insist, despite the evidence shown by Lott, that Fawcett did not want Lott to see her in her dying days. Despite this, Fawcett’s father agreed with Lott’s statements. In an earlier interview, he said that O’Neal was the reason why Lott did not have the opportunity to see Fawcett.
Griffin O’Neal, who was the oldest of O’Neal’s children, was the one who, in addition to Lott, felt that his father had hidden agendas behind the things that he did. Griffin accused O’Neal of seeming like he was devastated by Fawcett’s passing despite the fact that he was acting like he was sobbing fake tears.
