A Polish actress and model who came dangerously close to losing an eye after being attacked by her dog has been criticized by the shelter from where she acquired the dog for being “inept” at properly caring for the animal. The actress and model was almost blinded in the incident.

A woman named Aleksandra Prykowska from Warsaw, Poland, was taken to the hospital over the weekend with horrible injuries after her pet mongrel named Logan ‘went insane’ and ‘destroyed her face’ only a few months after she had acquired him from the local animal shelter. The incident occurred over the weekend.

The damaged 33-year-old TV and theater actress who was the face of L’Oreal in 2015 posted the following in the caption of a picture she shared on social media: “I had an accident and had to make the most difficult decision in my life.”

“At this time, I do not wish to write about the specifics because it is of the utmost importance for me to guard what is still reserved for me.”

“Please don’t take this message the wrong way. I am still here and being cared for. In my present condition, it would be impossible for me to work. There are some experiences in life that leave an indelible mark on us.

She has now announced that she would not lose her sight, but she did say that she had returned Logan, who had a hard background and was suffering from cancer, to the shelter. Logan had been there for a while.

She claimed that the shelter was concealing information regarding the history of the dog and stated, “I’m afraid that another person may be hurt because Logan destroyed my face, bit me several times, not only me and my neighbor’s daughter, but also the wife of the previous owner, even before he got to the shelter.” She was referring to the fact that the dog had bitten her several times before she took him to the shelter.

“I’d want to locate a behaviorist who will care after Logan if I can. You can’t possibly keep such significant details about Logan’s background a secret.

“He is a wonderful dog, but he requires specialized care from a professional”

Now, the shelter, which counts a number of famous people among its clientele, has fired back at the actress, calling her incompetent and claiming that behaviorists were there to assist her if she had need their services.

Henryk Strzelczyk, the director of the shelter, stated in a public statement that all persons who adopt dogs from the shelter have access to free behavioral help, but that they hadn’t had any contact with Prykowska since the adoption. Prykowska was the only person who had adopted a dog from the facility.

He said that the adoptee never showed up for such assistance. Because he was in such poor health, she was in daily communication with dog volunteers, but she never reported an issue to them until the assault.

‘The tale with Logan was regrettably the outcome of inadequate handling of a dog with a rough background and, in addition, following a major sickness,’ a volunteer at the shelter told the local media.

There was an assault, but the owner committed a number of critical errors in response.

Another volunteer said that the actress had handled Logan with a ‘war-like dominance’ while she was working with him.

The animal shelter writes the following about Logan on their website: “When Logan arrived at the shelter, he was wary of people he did not know and not very well socialized.”

‘However, a month was more than enough time for him to open up to others and to take pleasure in visiting them.

“The home that we are looking for for Logan is one that is adult-oriented, child-free, and does not have any other dogs.”

His potential guardian should prioritize working with him and developing a connection with him as their top priorities.

“Everyone who has been able to earn Logan’s trust up to this point has completely fallen in love with him.”

“Because a tamed Logan is an amazing dog and an incredible friend,” the owner said.

Prykowska said that in order to justify her choice to return the dog, she would say things like, “Logan was very attached to me, he didn’t want to go back to the shelter.”

“As I was making my way to the hospital, I was anxious that there would be repercussions.”

I had no idea whether or not Logan would be put to sleep; I seem to recall that this was the norm in the past. I didn’t say a word for the first 10 days, and I didn’t even inform my parents what was going on.

“However, I would not be able to take care of him if I had only one eye that was functional.”

“Specialists have warned me that in the near future it could become even more severe.” I saw that the dog started behaving in a new manner. Following this occurrence, he was uptight, and he did not comply with my requests.

“I tried not to show fear, but because I live alone, I was afraid,” the speaker said.

The shelter informed us that it had taken Logan back at this point and would not be trying to put him up for adoption in the future.
