On Wednesday, Kathie Lee Gifford celebrated her 70th birthday. Several of her close and longstanding friends sent their most sincere congratulations to her on this milestone occasion.
Kris Jenner was one of the people who sent their condolences on social media, and she did so by tweeting a humorous flashback picture of the two ladies dressed head to toe in winter apparel.
She added, “Happy birthday @kathielgifford,” above the photograph she shared on Twitter. “I’m in love with you!!!!”

Back at Gifford’s old stomping grounds at Rockefeller Center in New York City, her former Today co-host, Hoda Kotb, offered an update on Gifford’s new life after Gifford retired and relocated to Nashville in 2019. Hoda Kotb was joined in the conversation by Gifford herself. Before joining the cast of Today, Gifford was a co-host on the show for a total of 11 years.
Kotb said on television, “You know what, she is living her best life,” Since she made the decision to leave this place and go to Nashville, she has been busy creating new things and accumulating new experiences. I don’t believe she’s ever been happy as she is right now.
Kotb also posted a joyful picture of the duo on Instagram, using the platform in the appropriate way.
“Happy Birthday to the one that makes everyone else have fun!!! I adore you, @kathielgifford,” she posted on Wednesday on her Instagram account.

Gifford acknowledged the event by sending a telegram of thanks.
“Hello to everyone! I am unable to express how grateful I am for all of the kind wishes and birthday greetings that you have sent my way. I have a lot to be thankful for, not the least of which is the grace and happiness that have been abundant in my life. You have all had a role in making this happen! I pray that the Lord may shower each and every one of you with his blessings. She posted a photo of herself smiling with “Shalom!”
Gifford has also only recently become a “Bubbeh” to a second child, bringing the total number of her grandchildren to four.
When the former TV personality found out that her daughter, Cassidy, who is now 29 years old, and her husband, Ben Wierda, who they married in June 2020, had their first child together on June 24, she was pleased. Cassidy and Ben Wierda had their wedding in June 2020.
Gifford posted a picture of herself cradling the infant on Instagram and shared it with her followers. “What a pleasure it was to spend some quality time with little FINN. I am the most fortunate woman in the world. It would seem! “I hope you all have a wonderful Fourth of July,” she wished everyone one month ago.
Less than a month prior to the announcement of Cassidy’s birth, Gifford’s son Cody and daughter-in-law Erika shared the news that they are expecting their second child, which would be Gifford’s third grandchild.
Gifford gave an interview to ET in April 2022, during which she discussed how she was feeling about being a grandma for the first time.
“You know what, strangely enough, I’m not thrilled for myself. “I’m so excited for my son and his wife, and for my daughter, who’s going to be an aunt,” she said at the time. “I’m so excited for my son and his wife.” “Right now, I’m just kind of observing everything. When I finally get to hold the kid, I’m going to have a hard time containing my excitement.
