A model named Brooklinn Khoury, who is 23 years old and was attacked by a dog in the United States, has released images of her change after the incident. In the year 2020, Ms. Khoury was bitten by the pit bull that belonged to her cousin, and as a result, she needed to have six cosmetic procedures to rebuild her smile.
She just recently showed her change by posting a series of progression images on her Instagram account.
In the year 2020, when Ms. Khoury was out with her cousin and the cousin’s pit bull, the dog attacked Ms. Khoury.
“I was like, ‘You’re such a good boy,'” she recalled saying to him. He got up from a sitting posture and actually jumped into my face. I was standing, and he was seated; all of a sudden, he got up and started walking toward me. And he was very literally dangling there, with his limbs and legs dangling off of my upper lip. She described her immediate reaction to People in 2021, saying that it was something along the lines of “Oh my God, get on the ground with him, hold his head, and go wherever he goes.”
She alleges that she still finds it difficult to look at the distressing photographs that were shared on Instagram after the incident, which show her with no upper lip. She expressed her sentiments in an online message, stating, “I don’t expect anybody to understand because how could you. I am at a loss for words when attempting to describe how I feel whenever I glance in the mirror. It’s as if I’m a complete stranger who has taken the form of a person I’ve met in the past.”
Following the assault, she had her top lip reconstructed via a series of six procedures, some of which lasted for a total of 20 hours each. In order to build a new top lip that was in every way functional, the surgeon removed skin and nerves from her arm.
