In this response, Whitney Way Thore addresses the criticism that has been leveled at her. Whitney went to Instagram the day after it was disclosed that the eleventh season of My Big Fat Fabulous Life would include video of Barbara “Babs” Thore’s burial, and she defended her family’s choice to allow cameras to film the solemn occasion.

Whitney showed her father, Glenn, and her brother, Hunter, a snapshot of a text message conversation between the three of them.

“I’ve read some of the comments that are critical of us allowing Babs’ funeral to be filmed,” Glenn stated in his letter to his children after reading some of the remarks that were critical of him and his family. “When I was making the decision to allow her funeral to be filmed, I thought about other people like Princess Diana or, more recently, the Queen of England, whose family felt that having their loved one shared with an adoring public was the reason to put their privacy aside.”

In response to her father’s question, Whitney emailed him with the following response: “Of course, that’s why we did film the funeral.”

She told her father in a letter that he had “made the right decision.” “Don’t read the comments anywhere except on my posts because people are more likely to be awful in other places. The only place you should read comments is on my posts.” My typical, encouraging followers provide comments on my posts. I adore you so much, Daddy! You make your mother’s heart burst with pride!

Hunter nodded in agreement and said, “Whitney is absolutely correct. I adore all of you.

In addition to including a long explanation with her photo, Whitney also included an audio recording of herself crying while reading the caption.

She started out by saying, “I know that a lot of people hate me, and I don’t care why.” “I know that I’ve dealt with stalkers, vandals, passing threats, and harassment online and off to the point where I’ve developed severe anxiety and almost never leave my house,” said the woman. “It’s gotten to the point where I’m afraid to leave my house.”

“I’ve suffered with this for the last ten years, the most of the time in complete silence, but PLEASE, I am begging some of y’all to think about it. “Please remember, just for this one instance, that you’re talking about my deceased mother and there is a family who reads this,” Whitney said. “No matter how much you need the hatred that you feel toward me to keep you busy, entertain you, or distract you from your own s**tty life, PLEASE remember, just for this one instance, that you’re talking about my deceased mother.” “There are humans who are grieving who are reading this.”

“I know my life is a big joke to many of you — something you can hate watch and gossip about with your friends about,” she said. “I apologize for that.” “But the way some of you guys are is terrible, and my poor father does need to read this s**t,” she said. ” Just this time, I’d want for you to keep my dad and the rest of my family in your thoughts. He is not worthy of having these things read to him.

In December, Barbara passed away as a result of cerebral amyloid angiopathy. It was the year 76. On Tuesday, TLC presented the teaser for the upcoming season 11 of the reality show My Big Fat Fabulous Life. A sneak peek at the next season had Whitney giving a eulogy for her deceased mother during the funeral.

In the promotional video, Whitney can be heard saying, “I don’t know how we’re going to go on without her, but I know that she would want us to figure it out.”
