According to information obtained by ET, the 41-year-old actress filed for divorce from her businessman spouse only a short time after the couple celebrated their one wedding anniversary. Before they started dating, Bush and Hughes had known each other for ten years as friends. They became close throughout their time in COVID thanks to their shared passion for helping their communities. According to what ET has learnt, they continue to manage their charity organization together and are excellent friends.
People was the first publication to announce the separation.
The revelation comes one month after Bush celebrated her and Hughes’ one year wedding anniversary on Instagram in a photo that has since been removed. The post was deleted one month after the news broke.
She accompanied a picture from her and Hughes’ wedding with the phrase, “Today marks 365 days of calling you ‘husband,'” as reported by People. “It was the best choice I’ve ever made. It continues to have the same sensation as before. Ecstatic. Running towards the direction of the future while giggling and smiling together. You are the best, and I adore you. Best wishes on the anniversary.”
In June 2022, a little over six months after Hughes had proposed to her, the pair tied the knot and became husband and wife.
