The divorce between Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth has been finalized, four months after the Academy Award winner originally submitted her petition for divorce.
According to recently acquired court documents by TMZ, Witherspoon and Toth have both signed a marriage divorce agreement as well as a parenting plan for their ten-year-old son, Tennessee. The documents were obtained from the court system.
According to the news site that broke the story first, the specifics of the agreement are not yet apparent, but it is customarily brought to the court, who then, as a matter of course, gives his or her approval of the deal.
On March 30, Witherspoon filed for divorce in a Tennessee court, alleging irreconcilable differences. The date of their separation was indicated as the date of filing for the divorce petition. She said unequivocally that the two of them had executed a prenuptial agreement before to being married in March of 2011. In terms of child custody, the divorce suit claims that “Wife would show that both parties should be designated as joint custodians of the minor child,” referring to the couple’s son, Tennessee.

Their joint statement said, “It is with a great deal of care and consideration that we have made the difficult decision to divorce.” [T]he decision to divorce was a tough one for them. “We have had so many wonderful years together, and now we are moving forward with a profound love and kindness for one another, as well as a mutual respect for everything that we have created together.” As we go into the next phase of our lives, our kid and the rest of our family will continue to be our first focus. These issues are never simple, and they are very close to the author’s heart. We are really grateful to everyone for respecting the privacy of our family at this difficult time.
After some time had passed, a source revealed to Entertainment Tonight that “Reese and Jim’s decision to get a divorce was really just an amicable and thoughtful choice on both parts.” They came to the conclusion together, and there is no need to make a big deal out of it. It is all done out of love, and they are dedicated to watching out for their kid as well as the rest of the family as a unit.
This is the morning show host’s second time going through the divorce process. After seven years of marriage, Witherspoon and her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe ended their relationship in 2006. Both actors are parents to Ava, who is 23 years old, and Deacon, who is 19 years old.
