Caitlin Passey, a little child, is fighting a tough struggle against the deadly illness known as Juvenile Batten disease. This condition causes eyesight loss, seizures, developmental delays, and cognitive decline. Caitlin’s family has made it their goal to cross items off of her “bucket list” before her health deteriorates further in the hope of creating memories that will last a lifetime. They want her to have the greatest life possible, in light of the fact that they anticipate that her long-term memory will be one of the last abilities to be damaged by the condition. The Passey family has been fulfilling Caitlin’s requests one at a time because to their love for her and their dogged resolve.
After Caitlin’s parents, Nick and Naomi Passey, and her siblings received the heartbreaking news that she had cancer in October 2021, they decided to take the whole family on an unforgettable vacation to Disney World in Florida. They made it a point to include all of their children in the activity, and they asked every one of them to name 10 things that they hoped to accomplish or encounter in their lifetime. The family has been working hard to make these goals come true, and as a result, Caitlin has been able to experience some really unforgettable adventures, such as going to Harry Potter World, Alton Towers, Disneyland Paris, and DisneyWorld Florida. In addition to this, they were able to make her childhood ambition of meeting her musical hero, Ed Sheeran, and attending one of his concerts a reality by traveling to Germany to do so.
In addition to making Caitlin’s wishes come true, the Passey family has been working to raise money so that she may have a place to live that is more suited to her needs. Caitlin and her family will be able to find solace in the area even though it will be constructed to handle sophisticated medical equipment. This will allow Caitlin’s loved ones to stay by her side during those sleepless nights. They have already amassed a remarkable £59,200 thanks to the wonderful contributions of their friends, family, and local businesses. Caitlin’s vision, on the other hand, has been progressively failing, which has added a sense of urgency to their efforts. The family has not lost their sense of gratitude for the love and support they have received and values the time they have been able to spend with their courageous daughter despite the difficulties they have faced.
