After being mocked at a job interview due to the way he looked, a Vietnamese guy who is now 26 years old says that he has had extensive cosmetic surgery in order to make significant improvements to his appearance.
After uploading images of what he claims to be his old self on TikTok, a user by the name of Quyn has been gaining a lot of attention on Asian social media. The user says that the photos were taken before he had nine different surgeries for cosmetic surgery. It is easy to see why people are astonished after seeing the change in appearance; the individual appears to be an entirely new person, from the contour of his face to the eyes and nose that he now has. He says that he went to cosmetic surgery after attempting to acquire a job and having the interviewer laugh at him because of his terrible features. He then claims that the interviewer encouraged him to seek plastic surgery.

If these before and after photographs had been provided by someone other than Quyn, it would have been difficult to believe that they are of the same person. I think it’s fair to say that it would have been impossible to believe that they are the same person. In point of fact, even has been had to contend with a great degree of mistrust from those who just refused to accept that it was really him.

The young guy, who is now based in Saigon and works as a makeup artist there, revealed to the followers of his TikTok account that he had nine significant cosmetic procedures completed at a cost of almost 400 million dong ($17,400). These procedures included rhinoplasty, chin implants, porcelain veneers, lip contouring, double eyelid surgery, and lip implants.
The 26-year-old man said that it was difficult for him to acquire a job due to his unattractive appearance, and after being mocked by a prospective employer during a job interview, he thought it was time to make a change. As a result, he opted to get cosmetic surgery in order to improve his appearance. Because no one in his family has a particularly high income, he was forced to use his own funds to pay for the cosmetic surgeries.

“When I returned home for the first time after undergoing plastic surgery, my parents did not recognize me,” Quyn said. “Even though I was prepared for it, I was still unable to keep the tears from falling.”
The teenage cosmetic artist uses Instagram and TikTok on a daily basis to share images and videos of himself on both platforms. These postings sometimes include transition clips that highlight his rapid makeover. Despite the fact that he has his fair share of detractors, Quyn has no regrets about undergoing cosmetic surgery, and he encourages his followers to do whatever it is that brings them the most contentment in their own lives.
He said, “Always be strong, and find the beauty that you are most confident in,” adding, “The standard of beauty for me is that when you look at yourself in the mirror and you feel satisfied and confident.”
