In the kitchen, Kate Bosworth and Justin Long botched a very important cooking task.
On the episode of his podcast titled “Life Is Short” that was released on Friday, Long, who is 45 years old, said that he and his wife had cooked “rancid” beef for a taco supper, which eventually did not end well for either of them.
The actor shared with his brother and co-host Christian Long that despite the fact that he has been “trying to eat less meat,” he and Bosworth, 40, recently made the decision to purchase a flank steak from a butcher, and the actor admitted that he waited a little bit too long to cook the steak. Bosworth ate it before the actor did.
“I must say, I was taken aback by this development. It was her job to prepare the meat in the marinade. Long remembered that she pulled it out, and that night we were eating tacos for dinner. “We found this recipe for this really great marinade, and it calls for orange juice. Then, we let it sit for the entire day,” you say.
“You know how when you’re grilling anything, there’s something so rewarding about when it’s really successful and when you get the time perfect and the taste just right? Long remarked, “It’s really uncommon for me to do a perfect job grilling, so I was really proud of myself when I did it.”
He said that once he chopped up the steak cooked to a medium-rare temperature, he believed it was “quite a success,” until Bosworth acknowledged that she felt nauseated as she stretched after dinner.
“At that point, I said, ‘I wonder why, and I wonder if it was anything that we ate.’ And she said it in such a matter-of-fact manner, as follows: “Well, the meat was a little bit putrid.” “She began laughing, and she repeated it,” Long recalled.”When I took it out of the package, it smelled quite rancid,” [she remarked], “it.”
He continued by saying, “The more she recounted the odor and unpacking, the sensation of smelling it, the more certain she was that it wasn’t just like a little off, but rather that it was pungently rancid.”
Long said that although while he was “surprised” that his wife chose not to comment on the meat while they were eating, he would have chosen the same course of action had he been in her position.
“As soon as that notion crossed my mind, I recognized that I would have acted in the same manner. My first reaction would have been something along the lines of what she stated, “Well, I washed it off, and it had kind of a film, like a slimy film.”
Long also said to his brother that he and Bosworth had been spending a lot of time lately watching the survival competition series Alone, which may have played a role in the two of them deciding to go with the lunch. “I asked her what she thought, and she replied, ‘Yeah, so what, people eat rotten meat.'” And all of us were simply giddy with anticipation to succeed when she made the decision to play the dice.

The actor acknowledged that neither Long nor Bosworth came out on top of the meat scandal, but he refrained from providing an excessive amount of more information.
“Later that night we were messing around… in this case it was ‘too rancid to f — TRTF,'” he claimed, contrasting the situation to their own motto, which was “too full to fornicate.”
“At that point, we were like, ‘Bleh. Both of us were like, “Bleh.”We did not have any vomiting. However, mine didn’t come out as soon as hers did the next day, and as a result, I had rotten meat stomach for the rest of the day.
PEOPLE was informed in May by a reliable source that the pair tied the knot in a hastily arranged ceremony. At the time, it was claimed by Page Six that Long and Bosworth tied the wedding at the Rockaway Hotel located in the Queens neighborhood of New York City.
After working together on the set of House of Darkness in 2021, the two were seen publicly together in Los Angeles for the first time in March 2022, which is when dating rumors began to circulate about them.
