Chrishell Stause is becoming more outspoken about her desire to reconnect with her heritage.
On Thursday, the Selling Sunset actress, who is 1/4 Japanese, posted some images of her recent trip to Japan with her boyfriend, the Australian artist G Flip, and spoke up about how the trip pushed her to embrace more about the culture. The couple met when G Flip was performing in Japan.
In a video that was uploaded to her Instagram Story, Stause expressed how she was feeling about having to go from Japan. “This was without a doubt the most amazing vacation we’ve ever had. Osaka, Kyoto, and Tokyo.”
“Nothing will be able to convey how incredible the food was, how lovely the people are, or how impressive it is that the country is run so well,” she said. Despite the fact that my Japanese ancestry accounts for barely 25% of my total background, I am really delighted to have this opportunity,” she added.
Many of Stause’s supporters, even those who were unaware that he was of Japanese descent, now have further questions. A few of hours after her original tweet, the famous real estate agent also posted a snapshot of her adorable family along with further details about the situation.
“My Bio dad (pictured here) who I met later in life was born in Kure’ and his mom was raised in Hokkaido,” Stause added. “My Bio dad is pictured here.” “He was born in Japan but raised in Spain,” he said. Because my mother’s maiden name was McCormick, I am of mixed European and Irish ancestry via her side of the family.
In 2022, on an episode of Bling Empire, Stause disclosed for the first time that she had Japanese ancestry. Chrishell was invited to a meal with the stars of the program, where she said that she wanted she knew more about the East Asian delicacy of hot pot, but due to the fact that she was brought up by her adoptive parents, she did not have the opportunity to learn about Japanese cuisine when she was growing up.
In addition to that, she disclosed that she will soon be meeting her father. She shared the news with the rest of the cast by saying, “Actually, I’m going to meet him next week.” “This is the first time that I will be meeting my biological father. Yes, on the following Tuesday,”
Stause has lately been enjoying life as a married couple, even though they are not legally wed. When she is not traveling with her spouse, she is doing so. Stause and G Flip recently held a wedding in Las Vegas, but later on, she disclosed that the two of them had not really married one other officially.
G Flip said in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE that on their big day, “It was probably the best day of my life, and we had so much fun, and it was just super beautiful and super cute,”
“It will always be one of the most unforgettable experiences of my whole life. They said, “And we’re actually planning to get married every single year.” I don’t see why there aren’t more individuals who do it. It’s the person you spend every waking moment of your life with, basically. Wouldn’t you want to throw a celebration in your honor each and every year to celebrate your life? Therefore, it seems like we’ll be doing it. We’re really getting into it.”
The pair has been showing off snippets of their blossoming relationship, such as matching tattoos for the two of them and some adorable photoshoots.
In the days leading up to their vacation, Stause and her co-stars from Selling Sunset, Chelsea Lazkani and Emma Hernan, celebrated the actress’s 42nd birthday together.
My birthday isn’t until the 21st, but because I’ll be in Japan at that time, my pals surprised me with a little bit of an early party! Stause captioned one of her Instagram posts with the phrase “I love you guys.”
