The most trippy tune of the season was created via a collaboration between Travis Scott, Bad Bunny, and The Weeknd.
This past Friday, Scott disseminated the first single off his next studio album Utopia, which is named “K-Pop,” along with a music video to accompany the track.
The hypnotic music video, which was directed by Scott, who is 32 years old, takes viewers on a journey (quite literally, as there are motorbikes and automobiles all over the place) as he goes from sporting arenas to mystical islands and petrol stations. Scott also appears in the video. Along the journey, fans observe partners Bad Bunny, 29, and The Weeknd, 33, performing their lines from hilltop homes and nightclubs respectively. Bad Bunny is 29 years old, while The Weeknd is 33 years old.
While Scott is guiding viewers through these many settings, which seem to be a part of a distorted reality, he also stumbles across his buddy and partner SZA, as well as Pharrell.
At the conclusion of the story, Scott, whose actual name is Jacques Webster, takes a motorbike back to the stadium where he began, and once there, he is handed a dish of spaghetti to eat while sitting in the vacant seats.
