Lionel Messi’s first game in the Major League Soccer was attended by a who’s who of the sports world. The major game was held in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and a number of famous people, including Kim Kardashian, LeBron James, Serena Williams, and David and Victoria Beckham, flew there to attend.
Messi made his debut with Inter Miami FC in the second half of the 2023 Leagues Cup event at DRV PNK Stadium, playing for Inter Miami FC against Cruz Azul of the Mexican league. Messi wore his famous No. 10 shirt for his first game ever. You can see that the celebrities are congregated in the same area, with the Lakers player standing on his toes getting a picture of the World Cup winner lacing on his shoes.
Both Serena and Kim chose to maintain their sitting positions in order to display their growing bellies. Kim shared a video on her Instagram Stories of her son Saint, 7, and his friend seeing Lionel Messi as he was headed to the locker room after the game. That video was captioned by her with the phrase, “Best day of their entire lives.”
The children celebrated their success by doing a joyful dance after they had taken the selfie. In addition, Kim shared a picture of Saint posing with Beckham.
Kim, who was overheard by a reporter positioned on the sidelines, said that she was there the game because her son Saint is “obsessed” with Messi. It was a sweet moment when Saint stopped the midst of her interview to inform her that he got a player’s perspiration on his hand after high-fiving them on their way to the locker room. This took place at a time when the interview was taking place.
Following the game, Kim and Tristan were reportedly seen socializing at Gekko, a Japanese restaurant located near Miami. TMZ was able to secure photographs of the gathering, during which Kim opted for an all-black leather costume, while Tristan wore a black see-through dress shirt.
Messi scored the game-winning goal in the dying seconds of regulation, and it was a beautifully executed set piece that allowed him to hit the back of the net.
