Meet Mr. and Mrs. Sanders!
People has learned exclusively that Miami Dolphins kicker Jason Sanders and his longterm girlfriend, Kaitlyn Calabuig, a nurse, said “I do” in front of their closest friends and family on Saturday at Cielo Farms in Malibu.
“Both Jason and I were born and raised in the Golden State. As soon as I set foot on Cielo Farms, I had a surge of strong feelings. “I don’t know how or why, but I instantly knew this was the place,” says the bride, who got ready for the big day in a gown designed by Netta BenShabu and had her makeup done by Shadi Malek and her hair done by Vanessa Arias. “[We feel] thrilled and fortunate to be able to claim that we discovered the person we were looking for! Before his season begins and I have to go back to work, all we want to do is spend some quality time together and appreciate the peace and quiet.

In 2016, the bride and groom, who both grew up in Orange County, California, were introduced to one another by a mutual friend named Jen Munoz.
Calabuig remembers that at that time, “Jason was attending the University of New Mexico in order to pursue his goals in kicking, and I was attending college in California in order to prepare for nursing school.” “Jen thought that the two of us would be a good match and encouraged Jason to reach out to me.”
The two people started talking to each other on FaceTime and over text messages and eventually started dating. “Both of us were chasing a goal under sometimes extreme stress and pressure, so having those moments throughout the day was a break in an otherwise difficult time,” she recalls. “Having that break in an otherwise difficult time.” “We were both able to work well under pressure, and as a result, we formed a strong bond and foundation, which motivated each other to achieve our objectives.”

After being together for five years, Sanders, 27, proposed to Calabuig, 25, when she was still attending nursing school. Sanders had just relocated to Florida after signing a contract with the Dolphins.
“Once I graduated, I received a job offer in the ICU out in Miami, and I moved to be with him,” she adds. “During his off season, we would always drive to the Florida Keys for a day or two as a mini vacation, so it became a special spot for us.” “During his off season, we would always drive to the Florida Keys for a day or two as a mini vacation.” After taking me on a stroll out to the pier and proposing to me as he was on his knees, he had prepared a romantic meal for the two of us out on the sea.

“We centered our attention on flowers as the foundation for their design. We did this by making a significant impact in the area designated for the ceremony by including a lush aisle and an illusion arch. Their color choice is dominated by white and neutral tones, with occasional splashes of green in their flower arrangements and understated black accents in their signage.
