Jimmy Kimmel and Jimmy Fallon may compete against each other on late-night television, but when they’re not in front of the cameras, the two Jimmys are rubbing elbows and sharing meals together on luxurious trips.

A picture of a star-studded dinner party in Idaho that Kristen Bell uploaded on Instagram on Friday may be seen in the backdrop of both The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon and Jimmy Kimmel Live!

In addition to Fallon and Kimmel, the photograph included Jennifer Aniston, who was positioned next to Jason Bateman and Courteney Cox, both of whom starred in the television series Friends. Bell’s husband Dax Shepard, who played Tom Haverford in Parks and Recreation, could be seen grinning about halfway around the table. Shepard sat opposite from actor Adam Scott.

John Mulaney and Olivia Munn also participated, with Munn making a peace sign for the shot. They were sat across from Jake Tapper, a news anchor for CNN, and close Molly McNearney, Jimmy Kimmel’s wife. Mulaney was placed next to McNearney. There were also pictures taken at the table of the YouTube celebrity Mark Rober and the actress Shiri Appleby.

The gathering was place at South Fork Lodge, which Kimmel had purchased in the year 2020. According to the information provided on their website, the lodge may be found in Swan Valley, Idaho. It is situated on a bend in the Snake River and serves what they call “upscale Americana” cuisine.

Bell posted one of her photos on Instagram with the phrase “Idaho, chapter 1.”

By any stretch of the imagination, this is not the Jimmys’ first time getting together, either on or off screen. The year before, on April Fool’s Day, they pulled off an incredible practical joke by exchanging positions in their respective acts.

A stunned and ecstatic audience gave Fallon a standing ovation, and he simply introduced himself by saying, “Hi, I’m Jimmy!” After that, he continued by saying, “Please, please, calm down, you’re going to upset the other Jimmy!”

In the meanwhile, Kimmel pretended to be Fallon on the Tonight Show stage and greeted the audience with the words, “It’s freaky Friday tonight!” After telling a few jokes, he questioned those in attendance by asking, “How many of you are disappointed?”

Later on, Fallon and Kimmel got up for a video conversation and disclosed that the idea to trade positions on their respective talk shows had been kicking about in their heads as early as April of 2020. Because of the widespread coronavirus epidemic, it was pushed back.

Most recently, Kimmel and Fallon collaborated with fellow late-night presenters Seth Meyers and Stephen Colbert as well as former Late Show host David Letterman for the last episode of James Corden’s The Late Late Show, which aired in April. In a skit dubbed “Late Night Nightmare,” Corden was shown as being awakened by the other hosts of late-night television and having a conversation with them about how he was leaving the program permanently.
