Caleb Willingham, the husband of Tammy Slaton, who starred in the show 1000-Lb. Sisters, has passed away. He was 40.

Slaton confirmed the news with a sequence of images on her Instagram account early on Saturday morning, in which she is seen giving a bear hug to Caleb. She said in the post’s accompanying description, “Rip sweet angel you will forever be missed and loved so much thank you Caleb for showing me real love and happiness.”

It is not known what caused the loss at this time. A representative from TLC issued the following statement to ET in response to the news of Caleb Willingham’s demise: “We are profoundly sorry to hear of Caleb Willingham’s loss. During this terrible time, our thoughts and prayers are with Tammy, his family, and all of his friends.

After hearing the devastating news, a flood of Slaton’s followers expressed their sympathies in the comments area of his website. A supporter expressed their disappointment with the show by writing, “Oh nooo I just finished your last season a few days ago I was so happy for you both ” Tammy I’m so, so sorry about that! Rest in heaven Caleb!” Another devoted follower commented, “@queentammy86” I’m so, very sorry. You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Slaton, who has been flaunting her huge weight loss makeover as of late, first met Caleb in 2022 when they were both attending a weight loss facility in the state of Ohio. They were engaged just a few weeks after first meeting one another, leading her relatives to speculate that the “shotgun wedding” may have been precipitated by the possibility that she was already carrying the couple’s child.

What was her reaction to all of that chitchat?

When Slaton’s sisters at last had the chance to meet him, the TLC hit series showed how they questioned him with questions. But he was unfazed by their direct encounter with one another.

In a confessional, he said that “when you love somebody, you don’t let anything get in the way,” and he meant it.

Slaton is infamous for having cold feet on the day of her and Michael’s wedding, informing her family that she felt like she was going to pass out before the ceremony. However, she pushed through her fears, and soon enough, the nervousness was replaced with exhilaration.

She admitted her feelings in a confessional, saying, “A year ago I didn’t even think I was going to be alive.” “And now it’s official: I’m getting married.”

Slaton’s special day was documented on tape by TLC cameras, during which Caleb broke down into tears the instant he saw Slaton in her wedding dress. Slaton referred to the moment in which she saw him waiting for her at the altar as “magical.”
