ET has learnt that Pete Davidson is now participating in treatment after a vehicle accident that resulted in his being charged with a misdemeanor for careless driving in March.

ET has been informed by a reliable source that the former cast member of Saturday Night Live is now receiving treatment for mental health concerns at a rehabilitation facility and is trying hard to “get back on track.”

According to the insider, Pete Davidson is now receiving treatment for his mental health concerns at a rehabilitation facility where he has been staying. Because he suffers from manic episodes, wasn’t getting enough rest, and wasn’t properly caring for himself, he made the decision to seek professional assistance, take a break, and get his life back on track. Pete is concentrating on himself at the moment.

According to Page Six, which was the publication that broke the story first, Davidson is receiving treatment at the same facility in Pennsylvania where his pal and fellow SNL performer John Mulaney had treatment for drug addiction difficulties.

It wasn’t long after Davidson walked the red carpet for the screening of his most recent picture, Transformers: Rise of the Beats, that he made the decision to check himself into rehab. ET caught up with Davidson on the evening of the premiere on June 5 and asked him about his enthusiasm for the film as well as his new dog.

“Are you kidding me? Since the beginning of time, I’ve been going to see these movies. I cannot control my anxiety. Davidson was heard saying something to the effect of “I can’t believe I’m talking to you, doing this thing.” “Bro, I’m completely out of body right now; I’m just so grateful and excited.” And everyone involved has been nothing but kind throughout it all. I can’t help but be enthusiastic about this.”

After being charged with one misdemeanor count of careless driving on June 16, Pete Davidson would make his last public appearance on the red carpet. The comedian would then not appear in public again because he would not perform at his stand-up concert scheduled for June 18 in Brea, California.

The allegation was brought against him after he was engaged in an automobile accident in Beverly Hills with his girlfriend, Chase Sui Wonders, in which Davidson drove into a house. Wonders was also injured in the accident.

“We believe that Mr. Davidson engaged in reckless driving, which ultimately resulted in his involvement in a serious collision into a home,” the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office told ET in a statement. “The incident resulted in Mr. Davidson’s involvement in a serious collision into a home.” “Thank goodness, the collision did not result in any serious injuries for anyone involved.”

The message went on to say that “we are aware that driving recklessly can have life-altering repercussions.” “In the year 2022, the number of people who were killed in traffic accidents in Los Angeles hit an all-time high. We are unable to turn a blind eye to this concerning pattern. As a consequence of this, it is very necessary that we take all accusations of careless driving seriously and make those responsible answer for their actions.

The Beverly Hills Police Department informed ET in March that police went to an automobile accident shortly after 11 p.m. on the 600 block of Rodeo Drive, when a single vehicle collided with a fire hydrant. The incident took place on the 600 block of Rodeo Drive.

According to sources inside the police department who spoke with TMZ, the department does not think that drugs or alcohol had a role in the collision, and Davidson was not detained.

In the meanwhile, Davidson’s arraignment is slated to take place on July 27. It is still unknown whether or not he will have completed his treatment at that time.

Davidson is not making his first appearance at a rehabilitation center for the first time. The comedian, who has been open about his issues with mental health and drugs, as well as his diagnosis with both Crohn’s disease and borderline personality disorder, has allegedly sought treatment twice previously, going to rehab in 2017 and 2019. He has been candid about his struggles with mental health and drugs, as well as his diagnosis with both conditions.

After making suicidal comments online in 2018, he prompted the New York Police Department to conduct a wellness check.

During an interview with actress Glenn Close for Variety, Davidson discussed his BPD diagnosis. He said, “I got diagnosed with BPD a few years ago, and I was always just so confused all the time, and I just thought something was wrong, and I didn’t know how to deal with it.”

He went on to say, “Then, when somebody finally tells you, it’s as if somebody finally lifted the burden of the world off of your shoulders.” You must be feeling a lot better.
