As a result of the continued bombing by Russia in Ukraine, thousands of people have been forced to flee their homes. Despite this, there are some courageous Ukrainians who have stayed behind to offer food and shelter to animals who are homeless or have been abandoned. Pavlina Harasym, a veterinarian who patrols the streets of Lviv on a daily basis, is one of the city’s unsung heroes.

Since the beginning of the war, the animal welfare group Network for Animals (NFA) has been providing pet food and assistance. In addition, the organization is presently collecting donations to construct an animal ambulance van for the courageous doctor so that she may save even more animals.

In order to rescue the animals, Dr. Pavlina and a group of volunteers are traversing hazardous areas on foot. They bring the animals back to the shelter, where they will be cared for until it is possible to transport them to Poland in a risk-free way.

There have been 200 animals saved so far, but if they had an animal ambulance, they could have been able to save a lot more. Because the van can hold up to fifty animals, the number of animals that can be rescued has the potential to significantly increase.

You’re a gorgeous woman. God is aware of the nice things you have done.

I beg you, Lord…

Help is needed to support and protect the individuals who are working to improve the lives of those creatures, as well as the animals themselves.
