Zoey’s tongue seemed unusually long to Sadie and Drew Williams when they took her in as a puppy, so they named her Drew. It was too large for her mouth, so it was continually protruding, giving her the sweetest tiny blep that was constantly there. They speculated that the puppy will ultimately mature into her full size tongue at some point.

After another three years, Zoey’s tongue is even longer than it was before. It is usually hanging out of her lips and sometimes even slaps her in the face when she shakes too vigorously. It is certainly a sight to see, and her family is now questioning whether or not her dog’s tongue is indeed the longest tongue ever recorded for a dog. They were curious, so they made up their minds to find out the answer once and for all.

The Guinness World Records application for Zoey and her enormous tongue was sent in by her family, and then they waited. At long last, they were informed that Zoey’s tongue, measuring a full 5 inches in length, is in fact the largest dog tongue ever recorded.

According to a post made on Instagram by Guinness World Records, the woman’s tongue measures a staggering 12.7 cm or 5 inches. “That’s longer than a soda can!” they said.

The previous record for the longest dog tongue belonged to a dog called Bisbee, whose length was determined to be 3.74 inches. In the beginning part of this year, he established a new record, but then Zoey came along and embarrassed him.

Today, Zoey and her tongue are known all over the globe. Her family has always regarded her unusually large tongue to be really endearing, but they never imagined that it would one day set a record for longest tongue in the world. It has never been anything other than a distinctive aspect of who she is.
