After being rescued by PETA from a sad backyard confinement, a dog who was excessively matted had her first haircut, and she was very happy about it! After being confined to a confined kennel in a North Carolina backyard, the small body of Winnie, a poodle and lhasa apso mix weighing 15 pounds, became completely coated in mats.
Winnie’s elation at finally being liberated from those irritating mats was palpable, and she couldn’t help but burst into a jubilant dance to celebrate. Winnie is actually feeling as well as she looks with her stunning new haircut now that she has settled into her brand-new home with the in-laws of a PETA fieldworker as well as a dog sibling named Honey.
