She has a lengthy list of achievements, and now Mary J. Blige can add “movie producer” to her list!

The hip-hop queen, who is now 52 years old, has adapted one of her most successful songs, “Real Love,” which was released in 1992, for the small screen. According to Entertainment Tonight, Blige collaborated with Lifetime to adapt the song, which became her first single to reach the top 10 of the Billboard charts, into a two-part original movie for the Lifetime network. Both of these movies had her on board as an executive producer.

The singer shared with the publication that the uplifting message of the song has served to continue to motivate and encourage her personally over the course of the years, and that she wished the film could convey that.
