Kourtney Kardashian made her pregnancy announcement with “All the Small Things” playing in the background!
The star of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, who is 44 years old and expecting her first child with Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker, made the announcement on Friday by recreating a scenario from one of Barker’s most well-known music videos.
Barker could be seen having fun on a beach with a lady wearing a bathing suit with cheetah stripes and rolling into the water with her in the music video for “All the Small Things,” which was released by Blink-182 in 1999 and became a huge success. The same lady could be seen later in the video, when the band was singing, holding up a yellow banner in a throng that said, “Travis, I’m pregnant!”
During her husband’s performance in Los Angeles with the band Blink-182, Kardashian decided to recreate the famous moment in her own unique manner by jumping up and down enthusiastically while holding up a white handmade sign with the same lines. She did this while holding up a sign with the same wording.
Barker could be seen in the video appearing astonished on stage while one of his Blink-182 bandmates is heard shouting, “Someone’s having a baby!” on Friday, when both Kardashian and Barker released the footage on Instagram. After that, the stunned drummer made his way into the crowd to hug his wife.
In a series of posts that she made on IGS, Kardashian uploaded video of herself appearing on the concert screen with her sign. She then followed it up with a clip of the sequence from the music video that served as inspiration for her statement. Following that, she uploaded a cute picture of herself drawing the sign while sitting on the ground with a black marker in her hand.
People’s request for comment was not immediately met with a response from Kardashian and Barker’s representatives.
As the creator of Poosh, she already has three children from a previous relationship with ex-husband Scott Disick: boys Reign Aston, age 8, and Mason Dash, age 13, and daughter Penelope Scotland, age 10. This will be her first child with spouse Barker. Barker is the father of a son named Landon, who is 19 years old, a daughter named Alabama, who is 17 years old, and a stepdaughter named Atiana, who is 24 years old.
The wedding between Kardashian and Barker took place on May 22 in Portofino, Italy, and was a small, private affair. Following the 2022 Grammy Awards, the couple wed each other in a “practice” ceremony at the One Love Wedding Chapel in Las Vegas. On April 4 at 1:45 in the morning, there was a private ceremony that took place.
The couple exchanged their vows in front of a judge in a courtroom in California on May 15 of the same year. A source has revealed that the couple tied the knot before to their big day in Italy in order to ensure that their marriage would be recognized by the Italian government.
