The child of Nick Cannon and Brittany Bell is picking up new skills quickly.
The 35-year-old mother of three, who is now pursuing her doctorate, uploaded a video of her son Rise Messiah, who is 8 months old, on Saturday. In the clip, the child can be seen sitting across from his mother on a grassy field with a basketball placed in the space between them.
In the video, Bell tells Rise to wave, and Rise complies with his request. “Hi Rise, good job,” the mother chuckles. “I’m proud of you.”
“Get up, are you able to raise your arms?” “Let me see, keep your arms up!” she instructs.
Rise does what everyone else is doing and raises his arms until his mother tells him to lower them again.
Rise begins slapping the ground in response to her question, “What about clap, can you clap?” She then asks, “Can you clap?” Rise then brings his hands together to clap.
“He’s on the way!!” He has already begun reading by recognizing familiar words. Can’t wait to show you everyone,” Bell stated in his Facebook post.
In addition to Rise, Bell and Nick Cannon have two other children together: a girl named Powerful Queen, who is 2 years old, and a boy named Golden Sagon, who is 6 years old and began the second grade when he was 5 years old.
Earlier on in 2018, the elated mother posted a video on Instagram in which she and her son Golden were riding in a vehicle together, and she tested Golden on several spelling terms. He had no trouble spelling “knowledge” or “silence,” but the video stopped recording just as he began to spell “imitated.”
