Fans have been under the impression that Offset, Takeoff, and Quavo, the three members of the rap group that was formerly known as the Migos, were cousins. However, Offset revealed in a recent interview with Variety that this is not the case.
It has come to light that, contrary to what was previously believed, Offset does not have any biological ties whatsoever with either Takeoff or Quavo. Although he is only three years older than Takeoff, Quavo is actually his uncle, and Offset first became acquainted with him and Takeoff when they were in sixth grade.
The statement was made by Offset during a lengthy interview he gave to the publication. During the discussion, he also discussed the effect that Takeoff’s terrible murder in November had on his life and his mental health. The disclosure was made as part of that interview.
“I’m finding it so difficult to talk about anything right now. Offset admitted, “I’ve never really discussed any of this stuff.” “Seriously. It’s tough, guy, trying to talk about Take. It’s tough to bring all of this up in conversation. To tell you the truth, it is why I don’t. This s*** is killing me. To put it another way, that’s going to put me in a mood, and that’s a state I don’t want to go into.”

“There are some things that I will never, ever disclose to anyone. He is not in this place. That s**t feels phony, bro,” Offset continued, saying that being in a state of partial denial is how he is able to cope with all that is going on in his life. “I go about my day convinced that it must be a hoax. And I don’t discuss it with anyone, not even my closest friends.”
Takeoff, whose real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball, was gunned down and passed in Houston, Texas, on November 1, 2022. Takeoff’s real name was Kirshnik Khari Ball. He was 28.
In April, Offset shared a photo of a large back tattoo that paid tribute to Takeoff on his Instagram account. The tattoo shows Takeoff floating through space while dressed in a coat with a tiger-print pattern and sporting a number of chains around his neck. Offset maintained a straightforward yet endearing message for the photo, writing “Love you 4L & after.”
Offset addressed the tattoo in an honest profile interview that was published on Wednesday. He described his excitement over the tattoo by saying, “It’s my favorite photo of him… It’s funny to me because he’s not wearing his spectacles.”
During the course of the conversation, Offset also discussed his marriage to Cardi B, and he complimented her for the support she has given him.
“Whether I was in the right or the wrong, she was always there for me. Offset was amazed by how the two of them were working for the same goal of improving one another. Because she is skilled in social interaction, I am willing to take her recommendations into consideration. It’s the music for me, but I work behind the scenes because it’s my wife, and I want to make sure that she comes out on top.
“We are a great team,” he said as an additional comment. We’ve reached the stage where we’re a formidable force. Iconic standing. We believe in God. We place a strong emphasis on family. We have an unbeatable track record of success.”
