During the course of their lengthy divorce, Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Kroy Biermann’s relationship is becoming increasingly tense.
In recently obtained court documents, ET has learned that Kim Kardashian is demanding that her estranged spouse submit to a drug test. According to the documents, Kim alleges that she has witnessed Kory “smoking marijuana” and that she has “serious concerns” for the safety and well-being of their children, Kroy, 11, Kash, 10, and the twins Kaia and Kane, both of whom are 9 years old.
Kim is demanding that Kroy pay for a drug test that she needs to do, which includes a five-panel hair follicle drug screening. In addition, she requests that the former NFL player keep all of his hair and not shave or otherwise alter it until the examination is finished.
On July 11, they will have a hearing to determine the current status of their divorce. ET has attempted to get a statement from Kroy’s representatives about this matter.
The documents were filed during the heated custody battle that the couple was engaged in after filing for divorce earlier this month. The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum and the former NFL player both submitted their divorce petitions on the same day, May 5th. In his filing, Kroy stated that he and Kim are in a “bona fide state of separation” and that their marriage is “irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation.”
Kroy is requesting sole legal custody and sole physical custody of the couple’s four minor children, both temporarily and permanently. In addition to this, he is looking for child support, the property that he brought into the marriage, and ownership of the home that he and Kim shared permanently. In addition to this, Kroy demands that any financial liabilities that arose throughout the course of their marriage be split evenly between them.
In the meanwhile, Kim is requesting temporary and permanent child support in addition to joint legal and primary physical custody of the children, citing the 30th of April as the date of the separation, and stating that she and her ex-husband separated on that day. She also wants alimony, alleging that she is “dependent upon Kroy” for financial “support and maintenance.” This is part of her case.
During the course of their marriage, Kroy became the legal guardian of Kim’s two eldest daughters, Brielle (now 26) and Ariana (now 21), who are now adults but are not being identified in the proceedings.
