In spite of the fact that they were physically separated by a fence, Pax and Penny were unable to be kept apart by anything.
Nothing could ever come between this couple and their love for one another, and yet nothing did. Therefore, up until the day when their parents set them up on a proper date, the two of them would sneak kisses behind the fence by jumping up against it and kissing each other.
Emily, Pax’s mother, told The Dodo, “We started noticing Pax was going straight outside to the fences every day, and we realized that he was looking for our neighbor’s dog.” Pax’s behavior led Emily and her husband to conclude that Pax was looking for their canine companion.
Every time Emily opened her door, Pax would dash out, run as fast as he could to the fence, and then wait there until the neighbors let Penny out to play. Emily’s door was his cue to go.
According to the photographs that we obtained from him, he questioned, “Where is she?” while standing with his paws propped up on the fence in our neighbor’s yard. said Emily.
As a result of the snowfall that hit the area, the two dogs were separated from each other for close to a week.
You see, Penny does NOT enjoy snow very much. Pax, on the other hand, is a powerful incentive for her, and because of this, she chose to battle the snow in order to see her lover.
Emily noted that “once she got past the ‘OK, the snow isn’t so bad’ point and she saw Pax, she just kind of took off,” as soon as she realized the snow wasn’t so bad. It was considered that they were kissing one another due to the fact that they constantly licked one other’s faces.
The two canines subsequently saw each other less often every day until they never saw one other again.
Even trading toys with each other over the fence became become a routine for them.
Emily observed, “We’ve even lost one of my husband’s socks to Penny’s yard.” This was in reference to the fact that Pax is continually stealing his socks.
When Emily and her neighbor observed how well behaved their dogs were, they felt helpless to attempt to remove them from each other. They made the decision to open the fence one day so that the two of them could run about and play in the yard.
Pax immediately entered Penny’s backyard, and the two of them began to run alongside one another around the backyard at a very fast pace. It was plain to see how overjoyed they were to finally be with one another.
Pax and Penny are now seen together on a more regular basis.
They also have playdates indoors where they may snuggle, play with toys, and just hang out on the sofa together.
Emily observed that it was heartwarming to watch how well they got along with one another since they just got along great. Because they have such a warm and friendly relationship, we could refer to them as a couple even if they don’t really date.
According to Pax’s Instagram page, the two of them have relocated to a location that is around a half-hour away from where they previously lived. However, it was tremendously heartwarming to see them once again after being apart for a few weeks.
Emily claims that they have a plethora of upcoming playdates with their friends. Even while they are in the same room together, Pax will sometimes wear one of his pricey bow ties. Even some of Pax and Penny’s fans believe that they are destined to be together as soulmates.
