It has been announced that Keith Urban will be returning to American Idol. On Friday, the official Instagram account for the program made the announcement that the country music legend would participate as a guest coach in the show’s finale on May 21.
The singer well known for her hit “Blue Ain’t Your Color” is no stranger to the television program that features singing competitions. From seasons 12 through 15, he served as a judge on the show. Billboard reports that during the three-hour finale, Urban will also sing “Wild Hearts,” which was one of his hits in 2022. According to the source, other acts will be revealed very soon.
Urban’s a busy guy. Recently, he attended the 58th annual Academy of Country Music Awards, where he and his wife, Nicole Kidman, had a red carpet performance that included some public show of affection. Additionally, they made their first appearance at the Met Gala since that year’s celebration earlier this month.

Additionally, Urban had a performance at the CMT Music Awards that took place in Austin, Texas, last month. During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in 2022, Urban discussed his ambitions for maintaining a healthy balance between his professional career and his personal life while he is on the road for his Speed of Now World Tour.
Faith, who is 12 years old, and Sunday, who is 14 years old, are the couple’s kids. Although he and his family make an effort to sightsee whenever they accompany him on tour, Urban has noted that doing so may be challenging since “you think you’re on vacation until you realize that you’re not.”
Even though Urban’s loved ones are unable to accompany him on all of his tour dates, the singer has revealed that he does have a backup plan in place.
“I’m fortunate enough to be in a position where I can do a few performances and then return home for some time. “I’ve set it up so that I can do that,” he said in an interview with ET. It also helps to keep the programs interesting. I’ve gone to many of performances when the performer clearly needs a break, and you can tell just by looking at them. We’ve all seen such programs, and I can honestly say that’s something I never want to be.
