Andy Cohen is speaking up about his family life, including his children.

The host of Watch What Happens Live and his longtime buddy, CNN anchor Anderson Cooper, reminisced on their respective paths as parents during a talk about his new book, The Daddy Diaries: The Year I Grew Up, which took place on Tuesday at New York City’s 92NY.

Cohen told Cooper, “Ben sees Wyatt with two dads, and Ben’s other friend, Adrian, has two dads.” “I’m the only gay parent at Ben’s nursery school and the only single parent, which is fantastic, and I’m extremely thankful for the relationship we have because Ben sees Wyatt with two dads, and Ben’s other friend, Adrian, has two dads,” Cohen said.

The Bravo personality also said that “Ben has been saying lately, ‘I want another daddy, I want another daddy.'” And the fact that he is aware that it will be a father blows my mind in a good way.

“What more can I say besides that my son has excellent gaydar?” Cohen, 54, who is the father of Ben, who is four years old, and Lucy, who is one month old, joked about his responsibilities as a parent.

Cohen said, “Everything,” in response to a question from a member of the audience about what the most significant change and adjustment has been after the birth of Ben and Lucy.

Cohen also said that his mother Evelyn never dreamed that her son would one day become a parent to his own children.

“Whenever I brought up the subject of having children, my mother would insist, ‘You’re never going to do it, you are never going to do it.’ She just never really considered the possibility that I could actually get up the cherished motivation to carry it through.
