I’ve decided to give up. Christine Costner, who is married to Kevin Costner, has initiated the divorce process.
On Monday, after more than 18 years of marriage, Christine finalized the dissolution of her union to the actor from Yellowstone by submitting the necessary paperwork.
It was with great regret that circumstances beyond his control have occurred, which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to join in a dissolution of marriage proceeding, as a statement sent by Kevin’s representative to ET on Tuesday afternoon said. “It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired.”
“We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time,” the statement’s conclusion said.

According to TMZ’s story, Christine listed irreconcilable differences as the reason for the divorce in the paperwork that she filed. She has no intention of applying for spousal support.
The wedding took place in September of 2004 in Aspen, Colorado, at the man’s property. They have three children together: Cayden is 15 years old, Hayes is 14 years old, and Grace is 12 years old.
Annie, now 39, Lily, now 36, and Joe, now 35 are three of Kevin’s other children, all of whom he shares with his first wife, Cindy. Kevin has been married once before, and he is also the father of four other children. His relationship with actress Bridget Rooney resulted in the birth of their son, Liam, who is now 27 years old.
